If so why? Are you done with your holiday shopping, you don't exchange gifts or you are trying to cut down on your consumerism-ness (word?)?
For me the last few years I have done more of the shopping that I wanted to do on line. This year there is very little I am wanting to buy. I have a few thing I need to buy. I need new bras and panties. The crass consumerism surrounding Nov and Des is becoming a big turnoff. It doesn't help that I have a very low threshold for stupid and self centered people so going out shopping is worse than house cleaning.

I want to but I will see how I feel. I have to work at Target the night before. I am hoping to get the deals I want from there online that morning before work. If not, oh well. Bass Pro Shop has some sales that I really want.. so I MIGHT try to make it. I work till 2:15am and they open at 5:00am.. Just not sure I will be up to it after a long shift.

I simply avoid the crowds on this friday. Everything I **need** can wait until Sunday when everyone is out of money.

Not shopping. In fact, I've not looked at one Black Friday Ad and I've deleted all my emails that have already polluted my inbox.
I wish I could say it was because I was making a stand against a commercial Christmas...but the fact is, there's not going to be a lot of shopping done this year and typically, any ad I see on Black Friday isn't going to have what I'm looking for and it sucks me in to spending money I normally wouldn't have spent because something is a good deal.

Me. I don't really need anything. We just give cash or gift cards so I don't need to gift ship. I haven't seen any Black Friday deals that was worth the crowds, cranky people, and hot stores. I have friends in town so I'll just hang out with them.

I probably won't go on Friday bc the things I am interested in getting (Skylanders and Disney infinity) go on sale on Thursday, so that's when I'll be shopping.
Friday we will be at home taking down the Thanksgiving decorations and putting up the Christmas trees and lights.

I will see what is good at michaels on Friday. Probably nothing, though. I will also go to the Bay to see if they have any good deals on. Every day they have a special on so it might just be another shopping day there. Not sure.

I went shopping on Black Friday once and swore I never would again. The way the crowds acted disgusted me. If anything I might look at some of the online sales. I'm hoping to find the iPod Nano at a discounted price.

Nope. I went once and swore to never go again. People were insanely rude and I'd rather pay full price than deal with that.

I don't need anything bad enough to get up that early to save a few bucks. Plus, we don't do Christmas. We get gifts for the neices and nephew, but my husband and I decided a decade or so ago to not buy birthday or XMas presents, and instead use our money for fabulous vacations and season tickets. We have had a ton of great trips and lots of Seahawks, Sonics and Storm games, so it is worth it. Plus--that aforementioned sleeping in on black Friday.

I went twice in the last 30 years with the inlaws but never again. They send out teams to all the different stores, plan a cart waiter, the money/coupon/list person and at least 2 runners/grabbers per store. After purchases are made they lock them in my BIL's big step van and go to the next store. Then it's back to MIL's for the big Christmas wrap up. Super crazy! I like to go and wander about finding the perfect gift for each person on my list, even better is to buy the stuff and make them something. This year I've been so sick most of my shopping will be done online and mailed straight to them. I can barely walk to the mailbox forget standing in a line.

Me! No desire. Last year I was in the hospital before Christmas and found every way possible to get free shipping and deal on line. I liked it. Click and appears at home. Ta da! Just happy to say I did not double up, screw up or overbuy with all the meds I was on! whew!

I've only been Black Friday shopping once, meaning like at midnight. Shopped in old navy for about thirty minutes and it took me an hour and a half to check out. I won't do that again. I'm sleeping in Friday and shop a little in the afternoon. I barely have bought a thing so far. I will do some shopping Saturday for the "shop local thingy".

I'm not shopping that weekend at all. I'm almost finished shopping and what I still need can wait until Monday when everyone is back to work.

I won't be. I have less than zero desire to deal with crowds on even the best day, much less Black Friday. And I've barely even started Christmas shopping - just placed my first online Christmas order last night. LOVE online shopping! If I have my druthers, I won't step foot in a store and will get all my present buying done online.

I haven't even looked at the Black Friday ads and have no plans to go shopping Friday.
I've only gone shopping early once on BF and that was to take my MIL. I'm a list maker and will go methodically through a store or mall, but my MIL is like a hummingbird flitting from sale sign to sale sign, up and down floors and back again. If someone grabs something, she wants to know what they have and if it is a good deal and needs to get one too. I had the patience for it 10 years ago, but not now.
One time DH took her and she immediately gave us everything she bought for us, so it wasn't even Christmas shopping. Two of the items didn't fit, so we had to go back to the store that evening to return/exchange. Thankfully, at that time of day the store was deserted.
We don't buy a lot, some is already bought and the rest will be ordered online. DS has books and DVDs on his list that I would be unlikely to find in a store anyway.

I'm not, I've never been a fan of Black Friday. I don't think there's anything out there that I need badly enough to subject myself to that madness.

Me!
I never shop Black Friday (or even on Thanksgiving).
I have 3 more gifts to buy for dd and they are not on sale BF.
AG won't have the items my nieces want on sale anytime soon.
I cind way better sales from August till BF on the items my kids want.
Two years ago when my dd asked for a digital camera it was $20 cheaper the week before BF than it was on BF AND I got it with a case and chip.

I think DH may be going to costco but he is going to attempt to get them online instead if possible
I am hoping to not go to a store until Monday. I need to get a few things tomorrow but then I want to just hang out at home.
eta: I just have no desire to deal with the crowds to save a few bucks. The traffic also is just no fun. I will be avoiding the malls and most stores as much as possible for the next month. I do have a bit of shopping to do but most will be done online.

Our black friday motto is - Don't buy - DIY. I'm going to a jewelry making workshop where we'll donate all our creations to the local Homeless Garden Project Holiday Store. Anyone in Santa Cruz? It's at the Tannery, all day.

I want to, but I'm tired of the insanity of it and the general rudeness of the crowds I've encountered. I'll be fine finding deals on other days.

I never shop on Black Friday. I do not like the crowds. It's my day to put up the tree but this Friday I have to take my daughter to the doctor. Hopefully that won't be crowded. LOL! And I also have 99% of my gifts and they are all wrapped anyway.

I do all my shopping online or during the weekdays when things are quieter. I hate crowds -- I'd pay extra to not shop Black Friday.
We spend Friday with family. Usually we go into Boston and sightsee with out of town guests, but my mom can't walk very well now. We'll hang out and decorate the tree and order pizza. Maybe take the dog for a nice walk if we feel ambitious.

I am going to stick to local stores. I think it will be nice to go from place to place in a small town setting and experience a bit of the bustle on a smaller and local scale. I used to like to go to Kohl's, Target, etc. later in the morning on Friday, but now, with the stores opening earlier and earlier, by the time I would arrive at 9 or so, the deals are gone and the stores are a wreck. The stores themselves have kind of killed my reason to go. So I am looking forward to browsing the little stores instead.

I worked retail for 25 years and never shopped on Black Friday because I was always working. After I "retired" from working retail I've never shopped on Black Friday because I use to work retail and am filled with memories of working the day after Thanksgiving and what a zoo it was. I can't think of any deals out there that could entice me to venture out into that madhouse. Thankfully there's always a good three weeks or more of shopping days available to make my purchases.

I won't be. They've taken the fun out of Black Friday by starting it on Thursday. By Friday everything is gone. So, they've lost me.
