I was cutting something this morning and realized I was using the free Fiskars scissors I got free from them that are engraved with my Fiskateer number. Someone posted the link either on 2Ps or SBA, I can’t remember which and a bunch of us got them. It made me curious how many of us were still here.

No, I don't even remember that, but it sounds fun. I do love my Fiskars.

I vaguely remember that. Ah, the good old days.
Just recently I was remembering a scapbooker who had the original "She Shed" and it was stocked better than a store. Bottles and bottles of paper Prima flowers in every color.
I wonder sometimes. Is the room darkened, locked up and cobwebby by now? All that money. Oy.

I was a fiskateer but didn't get the scissors. I don't even remember my number. Gosh that was for ever ago.
I was also a QuicKutz Club member and got free dies. Won a ton of stuff from them too.
Those are the days of scrapbooking I really miss. The stores, the clubs the nights spent crafting, the excitement of new releases...

I was a Fiskateer -- my scissors are downstairs otherwise I would look and tell the number on them! Fun times!
Edit #416 - still great scissors and ALL of my personal trimmers are Fiskars brand - beginning with "Old Grey" up through the new orange wire ones!

I was and I think I still have the scissors. I'll have to check when I get home.

I was, & got the scissors!
Unfortunately, many years ago, those scissors were "borrowed" and absolutely trashed with roofing tar. ( Seriously, no respect for the scrapping too?s!)

I still use my numbered fiskars- #1536. Still nice and sharp! Only for paper or crafting, though.

I wasn’t, but I was able to get a pair of big Fiskars engraved with my business name at a HIA/CHA show decades ago. Still perfectly sharp! I only use that pair for sewing though.

Fiskateer #4260 reporting in! The scissors are right here on my desk and are still the best scissors in my house. Mine have orange and green handles. Are all the Fiskateer's scissors the same color? I had totally forgotten they were engraved with my Fiskateer number.

I had totally forgotten they were engraved with my Fiskateer number. Mine are also orange and green handled. I also recall that they were wonderfully packaged! Lots of crinkle in a nice box. It was a big tickled to open it -- such a hugely nice thing for a company to do -- but I was/am a huge fan of Fiskars even before that. As I said -- ALL my trimmers are Fiskars. I had trouble with one trimmer ONCE -- and Fiskar's customer service was excellent -- they totally lived up to their guarantee! Unfortunately, I didn't think the creative offerings were all that great -- but I don't really expect a great tool company to also be hugely creative!
