Obviously I'm talking about the season that just dropped a few weeks ago. Here's the place to talk about what you loved, hated, didn't understand and, most of all, your predictions of what will happen! I despised Darlene so I'm not sad someone put us out of our misery. I'm sorry he killed Wyatt but I guess they had to given who did the killing. Does Ruth now own Darlene's place? Did they have anything in writing when Darlene gave her 25%? Since She and Wyatt were married, I would think Ruth would inherit Wyatt's share. On the other hand, does she want to own a property where half the county is buried. As far as how the show will end, if they go back to the van being in that accident and that is the last scene of the show, maybe they are all dead. I need to go back and watch it again because it looked like Jonah was with them willingly. What say y'all? Thoughts?

Oh, and DH thinks the truck ran them off the road on purpose. I think it was just a trucker passing and being in their lane.

I doubt they all died, but I wondered if that accident was going to be the last scene of the series? I hope not. I'll bet Ruth does inherit the farm. Creepy. Though I'm sorry that they shot Wyatt, Darlene needed to go. I'm gonna miss her character. When she was feeding the baby and said, "I could just strangle you" in the cutesy mama voice, in a past season, that was epic creepiness. Do you think Ben is really dead? I think he might be alive and in hiding or in a psych facility. Wendy is pure evil if he's dead. She's despicable. I wonder if Ruth will raise the baby or Wendy? I didn't understand why the nephew was so willing to work w/the FBI? It seemed as though he couldn't wait to be the new drug lord. So, why would he work w/the FBI? I'd love the see the show end w/Ruth running everything. That girl needs a break!
Thank you for starting the thread. I've been dying to discuss this w/someone.
I think your dh might be right, but I'm not sure. That's part of the cliffhanger.

Oh. Oh. Oh. What if Ben is alive and both he and Ruth inherit everything? Ok, I'll shut up!

I'm really struggling watching this season. I despise Darlene and wish she'd been offed a long time ago. I literally can't stand to watch her. Ruth is a bad person in so many ways, yet you often find yourself pulling for her. I'm glad this is the last season. I do think Wendy is a far worse person than Marty; they should have got out when they could, but she was too greedy. Yuck.

Do you guys remember any of Wendy’s backstory and her relationship with her dad? I felt like she was especially wicked this season (hello? Throw your kid to the feds?) and their interactions made me think that maybe she was wicked even in her youth.
I think Ben was really dead. I also think Ruth Deserves an Emmy! Stacy

Holy Crap! I've avoided this thread all day because I still had 3 episodes to watch. I was not expecting Darlene and Wyatt to be killed. Good riddance to Darlene...I can't stand her character. I feel bad for Ruth that Wyatt was killed, too. I also think Ruth Deserves an Emmy! Ruth is such a fantastic actress. In the beginning, I couldn't stand her character, but now, she is my favorite.

Yeah, who is in the cookie jar? Ruth just bought it at an antique mall because it reminded her of Ben.

I am going to be sooooooooooooooooooooooo pissed if that is how they end the show, by killing them all in a car accident. I sure hope that is not the case!

Yeah, who is in the cookie jar? Ruth just bought it at an antique mall because it reminded her of Ben. I read an article that they (Ruth & Ben) discussed a happy ever after with lots of goats.

Yeah, who is in the cookie jar? Ruth just bought it at an antique mall because it reminded her of Ben. I'm pretty sure she put Ben's ashes in there. Jonah brought them to her.
I never questioned if Ben was truly dead until Wendy went along with that call about a dead body matching his description. So I am wondering if she somehow made it look like he was dead to save him.
I couldn't stand Darlene either. I honestly was shocked she was killed like that. I expected her to die when she had her heart attack (or lost her breath as she said). So that scene came as a complete shock.
Such a good season so far. I too hope they don't end it with the van crashing. I do believe that Jonah was in the van willingly. I also wonder if the truck did that on purpose. With this show, you just never can tell.

I read an article that they (Ruth & Ben) discussed a happy ever after with lots of goats. They did. That is why she bought the goat cookie jar. I forgot Jonah ended up bringing her Ben's ashes. I don't think she had those yet when she bought the jar, but that makes sense the ashes are in the jar now. Especially after the last episode when she is packing up to leave and she wraps one of Ben's shirts around the jar.

Glad Darlene got what's coming to her. Poor Wyatt!
Ruth is amazing. I love the actress. She needs a happy ending. She should run far from Darlene's farm. Too many bodies buried there and all the heroin. The last thing she needs to be involved in that mess.
Dh's prediction about the car accident is that it is staged. They will be declared dead and end up in witness protection.
Wendy is an evil woman. So glad Ruth called her out on that.

I think Wendy went to id the body so she could further make it look like she had no involvement in his death. I also think the scene with her dad will lead to flash backs where we see what happened in her upbringing. I think Gods might have had a role.I
I'm going to miss Wyatt. Darlene, no so much. There is no way she is like that in real life, 😆 but damn can she play a hideous human being.
I don't think they all died in the crash. Perhaps someone does, but not all and I can't decide whom.
I think Ruth will get the property and make a go at it, perhaps in cahoots with Javi - girl can win anyone over - or with Omar to get back at Javi.
Her anguish when she found Wyatt was crazy good. There has to be an emmy.

I don't think they'll all die in the car crash. That would be way too obvious for this show. I think the crash must be someone's nightmare or something like that. Maybe huskergal 's husband has it right about it being staged to get them into witness protection. I think the acting is great on this show, but I really love Laura Linney. She is so good in every role she plays, but I really love her in this role. As I said in another thread, I think the other members of Wendy's family are pretty self aware. Wendy, however, is completely unaware of the monster she has become. She is so self righteous. I think she still sees herself as that same caring and compassionate person who worked on Obama's first congressional campaign.
