Be honest And do you use the self-cleaning feature, or do you hand scrub it? I don't cook a lot, so and it's just me, so my oven doesn't get terribly dirty. That said, it could use a cleaning, and I think I'll run the self-cleaning feature today. My place could use the extra heat it generates today too. And, in the vein of being honest, I cannot recall the last time I cleaned my oven . I moved it with me when I bought this place 4.5 years ago. I only remember cleaning it once since living here.

I self-clean it quarterly, and then wipe it down by hand after the cycle is done.
I don't think there is one right answer - it really depends on how much you use it, what you cook it in, and if you manually clean up any spills, splatters, etc when they happen (I will clean an actual spill but splatter - nope).

I probably run the self clean every few months when the weather is cooler. I scrape down the glass door with a razor blade regularly because the self clean doesn't do a good job on it. I cook a LOT when it's not hot out.

Clean my oven? I keep two old cookie sheets on the bottom rack to catch any spills from the few things that might spill...like our Saturday pizza which is cooked from frozen directly on the top rack. I do wipe down the racks from time to time.

My old house had three ovens so just I could rotate them and not clean them! Lol I learned the hard way I could not use the self clean cycle on my wall oven because the high heat shorted out the electrical panel and had to be replaced which was really expensive. So that one got hand cleaned (and not that often TBT). My other two ovens were part of my wolf fuel fuel range and I could use the self cleaning option on that. I did a couple times and I also hand cleaned it because one of the sides didn’t get dirty at all due to what I used it for.
The house I’ve currently been in for 8 months… never! Lol It’s not really dirty though. I haven’t made anything that caused a mess and I do wipe any little splatters/spills right away.

If I were the sort of person to clean the oven, I would use the self cleaning function. I have only used it for the initial burn off when we first got it. Definitely needs to be done, but when it is warm enough to leave the windows open, it is too hot or we have places to go. Now it is too cold. Lol see how I can talk myself out of it!

When I can't stand looking at it being dirty any more - so not often!

A couple of years ago we remodeled our kitchen and bought all new appliances. Our oven (LG brand) is bright purple inside and DH loves it so much that he keeps that thing spotless! Fine with me, I'm not that picky but he is.... but only on ovens, apparently!

I make a lot of messy stuff, so I clean it quite regularly. I use the self cleaning, but always do my racks by hand. Self cleaning will dull the finish on the racks.
A cold day is the perfect day to do them, makes the kitchen toasty warm!

I cook/bake as little as I can get away with, so my oven doesn’t get very dirty. I do try to use the self-cleaning feature when I deep clean my kitchen every spring.

I have never cleaned an oven and not sure what a self-cleaning feature entails. I would rather buy a new one (we need it, not being frivolous!) rather than clean the one we have now. I hope it will last until the fall!

Probably once a year. But, it really depends on how dirty it gets.
We use the self cleaning option and wipe it down after.

2 times a year. I hand scrub it. Having 2 medically complex kids and 2 dogs, no way in hell would I use the self cleaning. Doesn't have that option anyways.
I do clean the oven door about 4x a year. I like being able to see in when I need to.
The stove top is cleaned weekly, with wipe ups when needed.

I don’t have a set schedule, only when there’s a big spill or something that has potential to get baked on. I use the self cleaning feature.

We also bought an LG huge refrigerator and the lighting inside makes everything look like stage lights. Cracks me up, even two years later!

Ours is 5 years old and never been deep cleaned. I use it a couple times a week in the winter and it really doesn't need anything more than a quick wipe.

I did a few weeks ago because something dripped and was starting to smell the next day we used it. We've been in this house for 7.5 years and I bet I've only really cleaned it good 4 times. I'll run the rag over it if there's a small spill. I really should get better at cleaning it regularly.

i don't use the oven much. i mostly bake cookies or cakes so it doesn't really get dirty. if i cook a prime rib and it splatters, i will wipe it down and then use the self cleaning feature.

Not frequently enough. But I did it recently so that should hold me over until the next time I can’t see through the little window.

Only 3-4 times a year. I hate to clean the oven, it's so hard to reach around the heating element on the top and bottom. I don't even clean the top anymore, the heating element goes all over and it's almost impossible. I use Easy Off as it's the only thing that works for me. I cook with so much olive oil, it splatters everywhere.
Once I used this baking soda mix and it cleaned really well, but I still have baking soda in the grooves and can't get it out.

Funny you should ask! I just did a major clean of it this past week. I moved it out from the wall (electric, so it is easy to move). I found a few missing utensils and a lot of yuck! I cleaned the walls and the exhaust fan above the stove while I had it pulled out with some serious degreaser (LA Awesome! Nothing is better). Then I went to work cleaning the outside of the stove and got that spotless. I had dribbles down between the panes of glass on the door - so I took the door apart to get to those drips. It's pretty easy, and you don't have to remove every screw - I in fact recommend that you DO NOT remove every screw. With mine I only had to remove 2 screws towards the top to get to the inner glass. And then the glass itself! Oh boy! I usually run my self clean once a year when it is cold. But that just does not get the inner glass clean. So I got out my trusty 4-ought (0000) steel wool and some Barkeepers friend. I got the glass wet and sprinkled the BKF on it and scrubbed with that super fine steel wool. Boom! Got that polymerized grease off and the glass is perfect just like the day I bought it! I had some spots around the inside edges of the door that needed the steel wool too. I took the racks out and ran the self clean, then took a damp towel and wiped it down several times inside after the self clean cycle. It's like a brand new stove! I cook 3 meals every day. So my stove gets a workout!

About once a year. More often if it really needs it. My oven was bought in April of 2020 and I've cleaned it once but it needs it now. It has a steam clean feature. I like that, doesn't smell, take as long or heat up the house so much.

About once a year I guess.. I try to do it in the winter because it gets so hot.
I had to do it shortly after we got it because my dumb son (LOL) put a pizza in it and for some reason the damn thing sunk in the middle and it got ALLLLLL over the bottom and racks. It was horrible.
