Netflix...Woman in the House Across the street from the Girl

I HATED this show. We stuck with it because of Kristin Bell and I really thought some of what was going on was her hallucinations. The whole thing was so ridiculous. You don't expect complete realism but practically nothing would have actually happened the way they portrayed it. I can't go into specifics without giving it away for anyone who wants to watch.

There is also a major trigger for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child.

I liked it - but I read the book which was good and bad. it was a parody though and it wasn’t exactly like the book

Is it a parody?  I thought so from the title but frankly can't tell from the posts.  I saw the listing and assumed it was (which I wouldn't be interested in watching), but would watch it if it were actually a mystery.

Yes it’s a what I would call a subtle parody (Kristen bell remarked in an interview that her mom would have watched the entire thing and not realized it was a joke lol). It is based on the book The Woman in the Window. I found it entertaining and my mom loved it.

Yes it was a parody, hence the name. And very funny in places. So ridiculous. I liked it.

I started it on Saturday but only watched a few minutes since I started reading reviews. I switched to Ozark. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

I watched it. Mainly because I do like Kristen Bell. There were several eye-rolling moments throughout.

We watched it all on Saturday. We were amused and enjoyed how it kept getting more and more ridiculous. Not sure how I felt about the final episode, but I enjoyed Kristin Bell and her big wine glass filled to the top.

I liked the neighborhood friend character and her best friend character- and I also thought the wineglass was funny.

I binged it and loved it. The casserole dish and bowl of wine corks tickled me:)

I liked the growing mess of wine corks on the counter. Oh and the seemingly unlimited supply of matching casserole dishes.

I loved it. I liked Kristin Bell in it a lot! The neighbor was hilarious. She was so absurd, lol!
