I cannot believe it's going on day 2 of 90 degree weather in So Cal and its expected to stay like this until Tuesday when it will drop 25 degrees. Oh yeah we have wildfires too. But yeah, climate change is a hoax.

the snowpack in the northern sierra has dropped from like 150% to 85%. we have gone weeks without any rain at all and none is in sight. with strong east winds up here, I worry about fire also.

Parts of SoCal were the hottest in the nation yesterday, 91 degrees. It is that darn Santa Ana! But next week cools down, and we may even get rain on Tuesday!!

It’s going to be 51 degrees here today in ND. In early February. Which is comparatively as climate freakish. Just to add to the anecdotal evidence.

I hated waking up to the Laguna Beach fire news this morning.

Toasty up on the central coast of California as well. We are in upper 80s.

This is absurd and so worrying for our communities. One tiny spark can take out an entire neighborhood and people don’t care.

I received the mandatory evacuation alert for Emerald Bay on my phone during the night/early morning. Laguna Beach is just over the hills from my home. I keep waiting for the weather to cool down so I can get outside and get my yard work done. I cannot handle the heat anymore. I work for about 10 minutes and have to come in to cool down. Looks like I will have to wait until Tuesday when the temps are supposed to drop to 60 from today's projected 88.

So we are under a heat advisory right now, in the middle of winter! It is 86 now, suppose to get to 90. It is so dry out. I am near the coast and the humidity is only 12%. I took the dog out in the backyard and my nose instantly felt the dryness. Stay cool and safe everyone! Pray for no more fires!!

This weather is crazy.
I love the Santa Ana’s but I always worry about people in the fire areas. It’s got to be stressful to deal with.
I love the hot winter weather - beautiful hot days and cool nights. Im near the beach and it’s already 87.
This weather and the Laguna fire are all people are talking about.

we also call this earthquake weather in san francisco..very warm, east winds. which makes no real sense. but the 1906 and the 1989 quakes "proved" it.
