As much as I read about dogs, I'm surprised I only saw this recently. **sidenote....I still sometimes find it hard to believe Robin's gone It was so nice to find out that Robin rescued his sweet pug and named him "Leonard Bean", aka "Lenny"

Chi weenie here too. At least, that’s what we think she is. Literally rescued from the streets. Love, love, love her. She only wants to please. 🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️

Pets are the best! They make me so happy!
When there is a pet need in our community, so many people come together and help. I don't see people come together over anything else. A sweet stray cat needed dental work and just one post in the community page brought in enough money to treat him and other pets!

Chi weenie here too. At least, that’s what we think she is. Literally rescued from the streets. Love, love, love her. She only wants to please. 🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️ I have a friend who bought a Bichon Frise through a very reputable breeder. After having her for several months, her husband needed to be away from the home on a job, so the dog would be by itself while my friend was at work. She decided to adopt a male around the same age and take them to a doggy daycare during the days that she didn't bring them into the office. (Little dogs like this do not do very well when left alone for very long. I know my own Maltipoo acts as if I am the best thing in the world after I have been outside doing yard work for an hour and come in the door. He jumps all over me and cries and won't leave my lap when I sit down.) The dog she got from the breeder was a sweet little thing, but a bit spoiled and fussy and could be in her own world. The dog she got from the rescue had been on the streets and starving and was finally found after being hit by a car. He was severely injured and malnourished and spent about 6 months staying at the vet's office for a difficult surgery and then on to a volunteer while he finished healing and gained some weight. He was still pretty thin when she got him, so he must have been just about gone when he was found. He was the most loving, giving, sweet-tempered dog I had ever seen. He learned tricks super fast and was so well behaved. He let the female have food first, toys first, the preferred sleeping spot first, etc. When it came time to feed him, he would lick her hand before eating as if to say thank you so much for feeding me! My friend figured that the fact that the boy had suffered in his little life, he was so very grateful to be treated well and have ample food that he was just so well behaved and loving. I have seen dogs that were rescued from the streets and I agree, they are so happy to be in a good home that they just adore their new owners.

Lexica ...... I'm crying! That is one of the SWEETEST stories I've ever read about doggies! (p.s. the doggie in your avatar is sooooo cute! I'd love to see more piks!) Chi weenie here too. At least, that’s what we think she is. Literally rescued from the streets. Love, love, love her. She only wants to please. 🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️ quinlove....awwww, I'd love to see a pik! I'm not familiar with chiweenies, so I need to google. And as a fellow foster / adopter, I'm soooo glad you rescued her, too!

scrappintoee : Hope you've been doing well. That quote was sweet and real. My dad ALWAYS told us not to trust people who didn't love animals. He was right. Lexica : That was such a sweet story!!! The generous spirit of people and sheer kindness is so very moving!
