Just wondering what y'all are doing for Match Day. There are lots of fun things to order but I doubt I could get anything in time for Match Day especially since they don't find out IF they match until 3/14 and then on 3/18 where they matched. Not enough turn around time to have something personalized for 3/18. So, any ideas? Her school isn't doing anything in person. So, I would love to do something at home for her. What are y'all doing? Thanks!

Best of luck to your girl! I hope she gets exactly what she wants. What area of medicine/specialty is she hoping for?

Congratulations to your daughter! I hope she matches to where/what she wants. We went through match day seven (!) years ago with my son. He finally finishes all of his training in June. His residency was pediatrics and his fellowship is neonatology. Thankfully he has a job already after fellowship ends.

Patter : Congratulations to your daughter!! A great Anesthesiologist is such a value (after nearly 50 surgeries, I know this). My Uncle is a top Anesthesiologist (who personally fought Pfizer years ago) in California, married to a wonderful Cardiology Surgeon. I rely on their opinions. My brother just retired but he was a Pediatric Surgeon and he worked at CHOP. Working in critical pediatric field is emotionally difficult but I'm sure that your DD has the intelligence and perseverance to make a difference in the medical world. Good for her!!!!!! xo

I know he is excited to start his job!!! My daughter thought about neonatology, especially since she is a NICU baby, but her passion is in the OR and helping people just like they helped her sister when she had her open heart surgeries.

We have had many physicians in our family but all have passed now. I know my uncle (a pediatrician) would have LOVED seeing DD#2 get to this point. She was younger when he passed away.

Your DD is now carrying the medical torch!! That's impressive.
