That time again for all the areas that still “spring ahead” 😎

Time to start the "hate it/love it" debate!

I struggle with the spring change more than the fall one. It won't be light until after 7 am. I think we start spring forward just a little too early each year.

Time to start the "hate it/love it" debate! I usually automatically say I hate it but actually I'm torn. Hate the adjustment and losing an hour of sleep but I love having more daylight. I come back to life in the spring.

And so begins, me saying for about one week - it’s 4 o’clock, but it’s *really* 3 o’clock. 😜

We used to Spring Forward in April (and Fall Back in October). I am not a morning person and having to get going while it is still dark doesn't help me. Since I live so far south, we don't get the long daylight hours like the north does. In the summer, it is already getting dark by 8. But, I just wish they would keep it one way or another. Stop flipping the clocks for just 4 months.

So freaking energerized already even if the weather outside is still miserable for quite awhile. Doesn't make a difference to me to lose the hour right now in the morning, 7am vs 8am. I'm not a morning person but spend so much of the year in the dark that I like having that afternoon evening light to give me energy.

I hate it because I’m an early riser and I LOVE when it’s getting light before 6 AM. Now back to the dark for a while for my morning routine. Boo.

Wish it was this week-end in the UK but we have to wait until March 27th. I'm more than ready for longer lighter evenings.

I am so looking forward to having the light longer in the day. As in the fall, the only problem is adjusting the pets' feeding time. They don't understand time changes!

Hey don’t forget to not change your clocks this weekend so you have a perfectly legitimate excuse for being late to everything.

I usually mind the change -- my body clock is VERY consistent. But for some reason, for the last month or two I've been waking up at o'dark thirty every morning. It will be nice to get up at 5 and go to bed at 10 for a change.

If someone could tell my dog about the time change, I'd appreciate it. She'll still expect food on HER clock.

I love it - it’s perfect for my schedule now. Lately I like to run in the mornings around 7:15am and I love the morning glow of the sun coming up. Then in the evening I often am either walking or sitting on my deck - and definitely like the extra light.

For a week I'd be saying oh crap it's after 8 o'clock already you better go brush your teeth it's past bedtime! Not used to getting ready for bed in the daylight yet.

My family is so excited! We love the longer hours of daylight at the end of the day. The lost hour of sleep doesn't effect us as as we aren't really strict with our sleep schedules. So we are fortunate with that. I feel like my husband and I "get through" the fall and winter but enjoy life the rest of the time. We are so productive in the spring and summer as opposed to sitting on the sofa and eating from dinner until bedtime!
I dislike the time change in the fall, and would love dst all year. But this way we all get our preffered way for part of the year. (I don't know how to say that in a way that makes more sense!)/
Now our 7 inches of snow last night is not making me happy! I am ready for shorts and flip flops!

Last year my son was only about 10 days old or so, so we were in the thick of zombie newborn life. Didn’t notice the change at all. This year I managed to schedule his one year well check and immunization appointment the Monday after the change. During nap time. I’m gonna just let the universe handle this one and manifest good vibes!

I’d love to do away with the switching back and forth.
As far as when it’s lighter? My preference is longer into the evening. Even though I’m an early riser, I don’t mind the dark as much in the morning.

I like the lighter evenings, but absolutely despise driving to work at 6:45 in the pitch dark again. I know things will be lighter in a few weeks, and I do have a very short commute, but I just hate driving in the dark, especially in the rain.
