I'd say I'm on a bi-annual brush washing schedule. Maybe quarterly.
I use the same colors most of the time, so there's no annoying muddiness to remind me how filthy I am.
BONUS question: Do you change up your eye shadow colors often? I'm pretty stuck on purple.

I wash mine about every 2 weeks.
Eyeshadow changes almost daily. Same palette of neutral colors but I'll go with my mood, how I feel that day or what I am wearing. Nothing garish- browns, taupes, grays, some deep blues. Oh I do have a really nice palette of mauves.

I wash my make up brushes weekly. I have a lot of makeup brushes and will just wash the ones I used that week. I do switch up my eyeshadow colors daily depending upon my mood.

Every Sunday, and I use Sephora's daily spray to clean eye shadow color off my brushes each day. Less because I use a lot of different colors (I don't) and more because I just don't like them to stain the brush.
ETA: I was not *nearly* this diligent about it until the last few years. I got horrifying Bob Costar-level pinkeye (from a pool, not my makeup), and then developed a corneal ulcer from a previously-unknown allergy to the prescription eye drops to treat the pinkeye. My doctor told me to replace all my makeup and brushes and to be extremely cautious going forward about not keeping makeup for too long and keeping makeup brushes/sponges scrupulously clean, because she said my eyes may be more sensitive forever. They have been, and I don't want to take any chances. It took a couple months before my eyes were back to normal. It was awful and I'll do anything to reduce the chances of irritating them.

I was in my 40’s before I realized washing brushes was a thing. I spent a lifetime with low quality brushes and just threw them away when they got gross. That being said, I probably wash them every 2 years, if that. And my skin isn’t gross, considering.

Back when I was wearing make up daily it was a Sunday afternoon ritual every week. I would bring my iPad into my bathroom and put in an episode of something and wash all of my brushes. Now that I wear make up maybe once a month I wash them after each use just to keep them fresh for each time I use them.
I like to stick to neutral shades with eyeshadow. Lots of browns and light tans. Sometimes a shimmer if I feel like it.

About every 2-3 weeks but I don't wear makeup every day, probably 3 times per week unless we are on vacation.

Once a week. Just a dab of baby shampoo and swirl in one of those bumpy silicone cleaner things and rinse in clear water. Only takes a couple minutes at most.
I don't really wear eyeshadow. I just use a little concealer or highlighter.

Eh not really ever.. the only brush I use is for my eyeshadow.. I just replace it occasionally.
I only wear brown eyeshadow... sometimes light shades and sometimes darker.. depending on mood.
I do have a blush brush.. but I can even remember the last time I put blush on.

Usually every 4-6 weeks. More if I feel like my foundation brush is gross and heavy with product.

When I wore make-up pre-pandemic about once a month. Now I've gotten out of the habit!
Along the same lines how often do you wash your hair brush and combs? Still about once a month.

About once a month. I typically only wear makeup once a week when I go into the office. I nuke my Beauty Blender weekly though since that one gets more gunked up.

I use a beauty blender sponge. I rinse it thoroughly after each use. I clean it with the cleanser about once a week or so.

Maybe once a year if I think about it. I am 64 and am using an eyeshadow brush I bought when I was 24.

Weekly when I was working and wearing makeup daily. I wear it so seldom these days. I think the last time I wore eye makeup was probably last June and I haven't washed the brushes since well before tha. I don't wear any face makeup or lipstick right now because I wear a mask every time I go out. What's the point of makeup when it won't be seen?

The only one I use everyday is a foundation brush. I wash it sporadically - when I notice it ‘needs’ it or roughly every 6 weeks maybe.
I’ve been using the Thrive ‘Muna’ eyeshadow pencil most frequently for an everyday eye look. So easy and I love the result. My eyeshadow brushes are getting less as I really only go all out for a dress up look.

I wash mine weekly. I wear makeup almost every day and I like to have clean brushes. I change my eye shadow colors seasonally. I go with darker colors in the fall and winter and lighter ones for spring and summer.

Every couple or few months when I was wearing makeup regularly. Now eyeshadow bothers me. So I just have a blush brush and wasn't wearing blush when we were wearing masks.

BONUS question: Do you change up your eye shadow colors often? I'm pretty stuck on purple. I use eyeshadow sticks, so no brushes to keep clean. I have several (too many!), but like the Ulta brand ones that have a little sparkle in them. I've been using neutral, beigey, and browns. I wash my other makeup brushes maybe twice a year. My beauty blender gets replaced every 10 weeks or so.
