Anyone concerned about censorship in libraries – public, school, or other – can support efforts to fight it by contributing to the Freedom to Read Foundation of ALA. See: Donation Funds - Freedom to Read Foundation (ftrf.org). You do not need to be an ALA member. (ALA= American Library Association)

This funds the attorneys who challenge book bans, censorship in reading etc. I see it as what I can do to stop what is happening across the US right now.

Thanks for sharing this. My mom was a ALA member for years before she passed away so I am donating in her honor for an early Mothers Day gift that I otherwise wouldn't do. She would be so sad to see so many books being pulled from the shelves of schools.
