AussieMeg, kitbop and grammadee, I am slowly getting through all the gallery posts and will leave love there. Linda, I would love to visit that park with all the painted frogs. I love frogs. I love the strip journaling that breaks up the bottom patterned paper and makes your page balanced. ~Your page with all the photos is so pretty. You did a great job following the sketch and shrinking it to the smaller size. The strip at the bottom and your banner and heart tie the pages together.~I love the cut file you used for Together. Everyone being masked shows when the photos were taken. A time we will all remember!~I love your brick die. I wish I had seen it and bought it when I was buying QK’s. The use of the airplane paper is fabulous. Such a beautiful page!~Cute Cookies page with all the fun Christmas/gingerbread embellishments. She seems to be having a great time decorating the cookies.~LOL. I love “whimsical”. I have a lot of those. Notwithstanding, the pages are beautiful. I love the three photos from edge to edge.~I love how you used Susan’s sketch for Merry Christmas. That is such a classy, well designed layout. It’s a perfect way to use 2 photos on 8.5x11. I finished one of the sketches, but it's dark now and it won't scan well because it has bulk. I'll take a photo in the morning and post it. My afternoon of scrapping got derailed, but I hope I will have time to play tomorrow.

Thank you nylene - I look forward to seeing your layout in the morning. I'm sorry your afternoon got derailed - hopefully tomorrow will be a scrappy day for you. I'm working on the last christmas eve layout from 2020...it might be my last tonight or I might get a start on Christmas Day. We'll have to see how tired I am. Tomorrow will be a mix of housework and scrapping since DH is due home in the evening. And I guess I ought to answer my own prompt questions? what are your scrapbooking or crafty favourites? Can be a supply, a colour, a brand, a technique, a snack to keep your motivated...I love cardstock in ALL the colours. I prefer textured or whitecore but the only cardstock I really dislike is the super cheap that doesn't cut smoothly. I love colours too and always struggle to identify a 'favourite' colour, I am often drawn to earth-tones and I do love red/white/blue as colour combo. Brands - I'm not really brand loyal (for scrapbooking or life in general). Techniques - I love sketches...Sketchtember is my favourite challenge here. As for snacks...I like Bridge Mix while scrapping but it's been hard to find lately. M&Ms work also.

Linda you are on a roll! And your pages are so lovely. You always choose just the perfect colors to show off the photos. I also have "whimsical" titles. Quite often lol. grammadee as soon as I saw that photo, I wondered if it would be a calendar page Wonderful layouts, there is love in the gallery. And for you too kitbop and AussieMeg!

Well . . . after a 2 1/2 hour nap after school, totally passed out enough to even have a deep sleep dream! Woke up around 6:30pm chilled, but a tiny bit hungry, temperature was at 97F. Yes you read that right, I always run at least 2 degrees low. DH made a loaf of bread (with organic flour . . . so I can indulge in the gluten). Still have the sniffles, and am amazed that I made it through the school day! Covered all 5 periods with mostly sophomores. Let each class know I was sick but didn't want to leave the school short another sub! Not COVID, just a normal spring crud head cold. Wore a mask . . . but removed it and blew my nose a lot! There were 100 unfilled jobs across all levels in 5 districts. Did my part. Kids were empathetic and cooperative. The chem kids were particularly happy that I was with them as the sub the day before was clueless. I like it when I can explain to students in a way that they understand. When I took group names, I reminded them my brain was fried so they would need to spell their names for me. With one girl I asked if her name was with a K or a C and she said both! The rest of her group laughed with me as her name was Kacey, so she was right, I just wanted to know how to start it! LOL
Crafting tomorrow maybe?

Hope you feel better after a good night's sleep and can find some crafty time tomorrow angel97701 I'm not 100% happy with this one but messing with it more wasn't helping matters so I'm calling it done. punched snowflakes, I'm not sure on the PP. Enamel dots are Paper Studio Scrapping Christmas 2020 has shown me that I need to really go through my Christmas stash and buy some filler papers and some embellishments that will work COLOURwise with the papers I own. The stack of papers/die cuts DH bought are working well but they are smaller than 8.5x11 sheets and 2 patterns on each sheet so smallish pieces which I'm finding challenging to work with. I have a lot of paper leftover from previous years but not much that coordinates together and almost no embellishments. That drawer needs a good purge I think.

Finally checking into this thread. I did the poll, and like others I would have liked an "all of the above" option, so instead I chose having people who get me. I love the online community we have here, and I really appreciate that we can share honest opinions on products, dig into the drama, and talk about whatever else comes to mind. I could probably do without the fomo I get by seeing all the new releases discussed though

Have a wonderful day Peas! I'm hoping to join later tonight but it will be at least 7pm before I get to play. I'm almost done yesterday's challenges - almost finished the sketch now, and I'm determined to claim DOUBLE bonus points for these prompts this weekend. Answers - what are your scrapbooking or crafty favourites? Can be a supply, a colour, a brand, a technique, a snack to keep your motivated... My inspirations/favourites are 1. a rainbow of colour - colours make me so happy 2. good photos or a good story 3. alphabet stickers, thickers or dies!

kmage - that sounds difficult. Is your DH an extrovert by chance. I'm very fortunate that my DH has individual hobbies of his own (Lego, stamp collecting, coin collecting, World of Tanks...) so while we do stuff together, we also hole up in our hobby rooms and do our own thing. But we're all introverts here with no friend group. Super huge extrovert...is constantly looking for someone to do stuff with. BUT! He likes to sleep late, so that is why I am scrapbooking at 7am, lol! I'll try and post a LO today. Awesome work everyone!!

I use repostitional adhesive for the most part, because I always end up having to move things around just a smidge. Sometimes, the adhesive won't stick anymore I've moved something so much lol.

This is based off one of the sketches grammadee shared...as always, I shrunk to 8.5x11 and simplified My scraproom lighting is terrible - that background is white irl. sentiment strip is cut from a PL card, heart and rectangle are QK dies, semi-circle is from a punch. Sticker is EP. Paper is scraps. Linda I think this my favorite LO of yours so far this weekend. The photos are gorgeous and I love the blues.

I answered the poll with Community, I love the community here and the friendships I’m making. The enabling, and seeing what others create. I’m going to work on finding some balance this weekend, by switching between scrapping and chores - scrapping first for a change! I never put scrapping first unless I’m hosting an online crop. what are your scrapbooking or crafty favourites? Can be a supply, a colour, a brand, a technique, a snack to keep your motivated…I love it all. Give me allll the things lol. I love bright colors and tend to gravitate toward those palettes. I’m into stamps, stencils, and inks at the moment (thank you Shimelle lol) I’m not brand loyal, but I am a paper snob. There’s nothing worse than cheap paper that won’t cut cleanly with my cricut. I like today’s sketch. I like to reach back in time for inspiration as well. I'm off to start working on these prompts and hopefully get some double points! angel97701 I hope you start feeling better soon. I've had the same cough/congestion thing going on for about a week now. It's pretty miserable and I'm sick of coughing.

Linda , I really like your Christmas Eve page. Don't change a thing!~Your background Christmas wreaths work well with your Christmas Day photos. I love the artistic and crafty gifts shown. You have a very artistic family. This is for the first day challenge B1. I used very old papers 2012 and 2016, but I just got the Salvaged Patina inks and used them to make spatters in the corners. I was most anxious to scrap this new photo that I just got yesterday. I guess a photo is part of supplies too, so I hope that counts for the new things. Swayzee @ 3

finally getting to my craft room after a late start to the day and some house chores... upper part of this layout got washed out in the pic - sorry - it's grey here today. PP and die cuts are all from the same yard sale pack DH got me that I've been using for most of the crop. These are not my usual colours but I think they worked with the kitties

I've completed 3 projects. Will post those soon. Looking to do at least a couple more today (I hope). Day 2 Answer = 1 Point? One of my favorite crafty items is the internet. With it I can shop for stuff I would never find locally, I can get inspiration, I can learn new things, I can be crafty entertained. I used to work with guy that used to say "God bless the internet!" I tend to agree.

Carta Belle Flower Market for this one - and a scalloped circle punch. The kid in the picture doesn't like the layout - too flowery and she didn't like the journalling. She's SO 15 sometimes.

Hey Peas! You've all been so busy creating! It's going to take me a long long time to get through all your layouts I went to an in-person crop today, but I didn't do any scrapping. I brought two big tote bags full of 35mm photos to sort through. I was able to get through my oldest two DDs baby years, but apparently I can't tell the difference between 3year olds and 4 year olds because I got frustrated and had to call it quits when it was still early in the evening. Wish I was scrapping with you, but this needs to get done first, and I've been putting it off all year. Off to look at your beautiful pages!

Hi Peas! I am wrapping up this Pea Celebration with Day Three Sunday prompts - P is for precious. Use that paper, embellishment, yarn, anything you have been saving for that "perfect" project, it's time to break it out. Dig into your preciousness and create. E is for Extra special - Scrap a photo that is extra special, or tell a story you have been putting off telling A - answers - I struggle deciding how to spend my time. If you are taking a class, or learning a new technique, how do you split that time with time to actually scrap? If I'm watching a video, I think "I could be scrapping". S is for sketches. I have a single page, double page and card sketch for you today. This sketch is one I found on the Paper Issues website 482479-600x600-3 by Joyfulnana, on Flickr This double page is from January 2022 Pagemaps Pagemaps Jan 2022 by Joyfulnana, on Flickr And the card sketch is from April 2022 Pagemaps Pagemaps April 2022 by Joyfulnana, on Flickr Team players you can earn an additional 10 points (20 if doubled) for combining these challenges. grammadee
