It is really embarrassing for me. I sweat more easily than anyone I know and the amount that I sweat is so gross! I sweat the most from my hairline.
For example, last night I took a walk with the kids and my husband. We live in Texas, so it is already in the 90's here. We went around sunset and the sun was down. No one else complained that it was humid. Meanwhile, sweat was literally dripping down my nose and cheeks. My hairline was soaked.
The other day, I had a newborn photo shoot. The lighting in the client's house was poor, so I shot out in the garage. I had to use a cloth to soak up the sweat coming off of me for fear I would sweat on the baby.
Has anyone had any success in treating/preventing this?

Yes! It's miserable. I tend to run on the hot side anyway but then add in the heat and I am really a hot mess. Maybe it is peri-menopause? That is where I am right now. On hot days, I have to take a cold shower right before I go to bed to cool off so I can sleep. If it is really hot, I put an ice pack under me for added cooling.
So fun.

Yup. I sweat a ridiculous amount, always have. I wish I knew what to do about it. It's definitely embarassing.

When I was younger or maybe it was before menopause I hardly sweat at all. Now, well it is a whole other thing.
And I find there is an odor that was not present when I was younger. And I find my deodorant doesn't work as well or at least not as long. I have to go to the restroom and freshen up part way through the day.

I'm like you in that I sweat a lot - and I sweat all around my hairline too. I can have rivers of sweat running in no time flat. I hate it.
I do tend to try to keep my hair off my face as much as possible. I use hair spray, more than most people would, to keep my hair lifted up off my skin. If I don't, it ends up totally flat and wet and it's obvious that I'm sweating buckets.
If I'm working outside in the heat, I will also use one of those chill towels, the kind you soak and wring out. It helps me keep a little cooler if I put it around my neck or use it to wipe the sweat off.
I also sweat terribly in other places. I can have rivers running down my legs or my back. I should use antiperspirant in some places and see if that helps.

Menopause has just started for me and I can sweat buckets at night. I can not sleep at all! It is so frustrating to wake up drenched with sweat and not be able to go back to sleep. I can be outside during the day and feel like I can wring out my clothes because I sweat so much. I don't have any ideas of how to treat it, other than use tons of deodorant under my arms and even my breasts.

I have that problem, too. Add in anxiety-induced sweating and I'm literally a mess, all the time!
The worst is when I'm hot and sweaty and someone (meaning well) notices and says something! UGH. I already feel awful and self-conscious, I don't want to hear that you actually noticed how bad I look!!

Since age 50 I started sweating in places I didn't think I knew about. Boob sweat is the worst.

My ass sweats like crazy! From under each butt cheek. It's worse if I'm involved in a conversation where I'm not comfortable. I hate it so much...I can feel it drip down the back of my legs as I stand there talking. I've debated applying deodorant under each cheek, but I'm afraid I'd just sweat from some other sweat gland.

At least I know I'm not alone. I've heard about Botox injections around the hairline, but I can't afford them and I doubt insurance will cover it. I might even resort to putting deodorant on my hairline, but I'm sure that would not be good for my skin and would guck up my hair. I feel so gross!

Add me to the club. I hate to be hot, hate the hot weather. What's weird is that I don't sweat excessively from my underarms, although maybe the deodorant/antipersperant helps...but my face, head, boobs, butt...yuck.
And I get botox in my forehead and that doesn't help the sweating! Although maybe they give you more or something if you need it for sweating vs. wrinkles (which it doesn't work well enough for my liking anyway).

Yes and primarily from the top of my head too, I hate it. I found though that cutting back significantly on carbs has helped. I tried icool (I think it's called) which is an OTC for hotflashes and it didnt' do anything.
Yes, the deodorant on the hairline worked well for me. I tried that a few years ago.

I do, too. If I'm doing yard work I have to keep a rag out to wipe the sweat away. Like you, it's mostly from the hairline. I get concerned looks at the gym sometimes because my face is so red and sweaty. LOL

I sweat like a pig. Do pigs even sweat? I have no idea. It takes virtually nothing to get me sweating and I get a really red face too.

I never used to but lately my hair is soaked after I go for a walk. It seems I come in from a walk and go straight to the shower. I can't stand the feeling of sweat running down my neck.

I do too. Cannot style my hair or wear makeup, it is so frustrating. I have been like this my whole life, though it has gotten worse over the years. Menopause, overweight and anxiety do not help the situation.

I sweat sooo much from my entire scalp. The underneath of my hair gets all wet and sticks to the back of my neck. If I have my hair up in a ponytail, it's almost worse, because then the hair that's above my ears is combed back, and it's so wet from sweat that it looks like I just stepped out of the shower.
I've been like this forever. It was really embarrassing when I was young and single and dancing in a bar with some cute guy - my hair would be completely soaked, and no one else - my friends, the guy I would be dancing with - looked like they were even sweating at all.
I hate it!!!

Make room for me on this bench! Holy Toledo do I sweat! Sometimes I sweat so much the sheets get wet and I have to lay a towel down to sleep on. I don't think my DH would be too keen on me booting him out of bed so I could change the sheets. I have it bad on my hairline too. I was canning cherries yesterday, and just a short while in the kitchen and I had sweat running down face and neck...I should say pouring!

Add me to the group. My head, boobage and butt. I was weeding the other day and sweat was landing on my hands. Disgusting! Even in the winter if I get hot or nervous my upper lip sweats, so embarrassing.

I'm like you...it's all from my head. I have super thick hair which makes it worse I imagine. It will drip down my hairline and then drip on my shirt or go down my neck to my collar. It's so gross.

Glad to learn I am not alone. It has always seemed as if I sweated more than everyone else. It's really why I don't like to work out. I live in Texas too, and I become a slug in summer because I don't like wet hair, wet clothes and my general stink. I can't even dry my hair without breaking into a sweat. When I was young I would go to dance class and everyone else would have this nice glisten to their skin at the end of class, and I looked like I had jumped into a swimming pool. It's awful, horrible and I hate it.

Oh me too! I dread summer because any heat makes me worse. My DH and children are all nesh and complain when I have fans and air conditioning working.
At the moment I have sweat rash under my boobies, and I'm having to shower a minimum of twice a day to keep the smell down. It's so embarrassing and uncomfortable and nothing seems to be able to control it!

Have you had your thyroid checked? DS18's coach had his thyroid checked last year because his parents and girlfreind were concerned about the amount of sweating he does, especially when running. He literally rains on you.

yes I sweat more than the average. So does my mom. I also get bit by mosquitos way more than the average. I could have 10 bites and the person next to me have none. Very strange and always wondered if it was related.

There is a prescription antiperspirant that your doctor can prescribe. It is very close to OTC Certin-Dry. You apply it at night and it can take a few days to start working, but once it does the sweating will be gone. The prescription is not expensive if I remember correctly it was about $15/bottle and a bottle last a few months. It is worth asking your doctor about.

I sweat easily . I had an episode of night sweats that scared the hell out of me. It woke me up and I was drenched. Although what you are saying is not the same I have read that what I do can also help with daytime hormone related sweats. I take remifemin and evening primrose oil. My night sweats are gone.

Massive sweat-er here. I hate the sweat spots that get on my tee-shirts.
