Does anyone make the Oreo truffles? Crushed Oreos and cream cheese formed into balls, then dipped in white chocolate?
I have made them before and used them right away.
I was wondering what my time frame was, if I wanted to make them ahead of time. How long do they keep. I am sure they need refrigerated since they have cream cheese in them, but does the chocolate get weird and sweaty when you bring them out?
I am wanting to make the snowman ones and would like to have them dipped and decorated ahead of time.
A couple days? A week in the fridge?

I'm making these as a special request for a friend. We will be freezing them and there has never been a problem provided we thaw them correctly.

How do you thaw them? Covered or uncovered? In the fridge or on the counter?
Thanks for your response!

I've never had any trouble thawing mine in the fridge or on the counter, in the container I froze them in.
I freeze all of my baking and just pull it out as needed over the holiday season. Much fresher that way.

I freeze mine for up to a month. Thaw in fridge and set out about 20 minutes before serving so they aren't so cold.

I then leave the containers undisturbed on the counter until I need them. I pack all my baked items like this, wrapped in press and seal inside sealed containers.
