ameslou, those look really comfortable. I also get terrible insomnia and have to listen to something to try to fall back to sleep. I only have regular earphones right now, and you're right, they are terribly uncomfortable. I think I will give this headband a try. Thank you! Oh, and I don't have anything to share at the moment. I've been so busy with getting the leak mess in my house fixed, prepping it for sale, and packing up 44 years worth of stuff that I haven't bought anything that wasn't packing related in months.

I should have started the process of getting rid of stuff so much sooner. I have been giving things to neighbors and have my covered front porch filled with furniture and boxes of freebies that I am listing on a Freecycle website. People just come and take what they want whenever they want. Whatever is left over, I will have my trash company haul away. I am having to just pack everything and I will end up setting up my new place with what I want from what I have and then getting rid of the extra from there. At least I won't have to deal with regret that I got rid of something that I later wish I had kept.

I have virtually identical ones (& I’m pretty impressed with the sound quality) used for the same reasons. I used to use a sound asleep pillow but these are even better & more portable for nights away. My current favourite thing is probably my Eufy vacuum. Young House Love recommended it and we are all in love 😍

This is going to be really random. It’s a Sink Soap Dispenser Extension Tube kit. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09NLKJTS8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleThere’s a hole in our kitchen sink where we used to have a hose. We got a new faucet with the hose attached. So I got a soap pump. But it came with a tiny bottle to refill with soap. It’s annoying. I saw the extension tube kit on Instagram. It hooks from the soap pump to the bottle of dish detergent. So there’s no constant refilling and when the bottle of soap is empty, you just replace it with a new bottle of dishwashing liquid.

I heard about Color Catcher sheets on this board quite a while ago, but didn’t try them until this weekend. We had our young nieces and nephews visiting for a few days and we decided to tie dye some white tshirts. When the shirts were ready to be washed I added 2 Color Catcher sheets to the load and I couldn’t believe how well they worked. A couple of the shirts had a lot of white space on them and they came out perfectly, with the white parts still white, even with 6 heavily dyed shirts in the same wash. Seriously magical. ❤️

I know I'm coming out of left field with this one but I've been obsessed with watching the bears of Katmai National Park fishing for salmon. I find it relaxing to listen to the water and watch the natural setting. This live camsounds even more pleasant but there aren't as many bears there. I suppose this is seasonal, right?

Merino wool bras and underwear. People look at me like I am insane when I tell them about them, but they are seriously the best, most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. Branwyn Merino Underwear

It’s Shark Fest week on NatGeo. Not to be confused with Shark Week which is on the Discovery Channel later this summer. I love both weeks. My family tolerates it. www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/topic/sharkfestI’ll be adding the sea turtle viewing in also.

I've been listening to Brandi Carlile's memoir as audio book borrowed on Libby, called Broken Horses. I've always enjoyed her voice, but she has quite an interesting life story. Each chapter highlights a song that was either part of her growing up or ones she wrote/recorded...but the best part is at the end of each chapter she sings the songs acoustically, and sometimes there are 2 or 3.
Love listening, it's somewhat immersive.

So grateful I can stream it, since it is also Tour de France time and my evening viewing is tied up with that. I've watched 'Baby Shark' so far. I guess my 'love of the week' will be my husband's birthday cake; it's a carrot cake (my favorite), made by the best carrot cake baker in our town.

Mine is a new double-wide garbage can. There is a side for trash and a side for recycling. Our old system was to pile all the recyclables on the counter in a heap until DS takes them out once a day. No counter heap makes me sooo happy. Trash Can - it's on sale this week for $28.50 less than I paid last week. I knew I should have waited for prime sales.

Girl, same! And it took me way too long to think to use a funnel to fill it, so it was a huge mess not only on the sink but the outside of the bottle was so grody it looked like a stalagtite.

My love of the week is that we reconnected with some old friends - actually friends of my husband's from 40 years ago. I haven't seen them in 17 years and my husband hasn't seen them in 7 years. We had such a fun time and I haven't laughed this much in forever.
