It depends on the show whether Ticketmaster will allow you to resell them. If it is "grayed out" or something if you can't.
I had Paul McCartney tix for May that I needed to sell. I had bought through Ticketmaster but they would not allow me to sell them through Ticketmaster. (I don't know if it is a venue thing/performer thing/ or Ticketmaster thing).
So I tried to sell through Stub Hub. But you are paying a fee to StubHub to sell in addition to Ticketmaster, then the buyer to Stubhub has to pay a fee. The potential buyer could get better/cheaper tickets by buying directly from Ticketmaster if I was trying to break even. (There were tickets left at the time).
I'm a HATER of Ticketmaster and now Stubhub.
I ended up taking a 50% hit and selling them to my DD who enjoyed the show!

Yes, I had to resell my tix once. I just reposted them for what I paid. I wasn’t trying to make a profit, just wanted my money back. They sold within 30 minutes. It was easy and no problem.
