Have I created another monster? Well, a secondary monster characteristic since I am already responsible for the IP? I suspect that you have! hahahaha

I mixed up the pineapple that I prepared yesterday... Just a can of pineapple with the juice it came in (not syrup, just juice). Dh was amazed, lol. And he loved it. There were bits of pineapple still in the sorbet which I didn't like, but then again I don't really love pineapple. But dh LOVED it, and he said the bits of pineapple were perfect because it made it seem "real". lol. He never says anything negative about anything I cook so maybe he was just saying that. But he scraped his bowl clean, so.. I thought it was a bit mild tasting, but excellent anyway. I just made up a strawberry pint -- fresh strawberries that I mashed up with my immersion blender. I also added some sugar to this batch because to me strawberries are always sour. Tomorrow's breakfast is a banana and peanut butter one that I mixed yesterday. I also have peach waiting in there, and the strawberry. And I have a bottle of mangoes that I'd love to use (I can't do fresh mangoes because I'm allergic to the whatever-it-is that's just under the skin). Clearly I need more pints! hahaha Have I created another monster? Well, a secondary monster characteristic since I am already responsible for the IP? 😂 Well, DH and I wanted one, then convinced ourselves not to buy one. We still talked about it once or twice. But I saw this thread and realized for this price I could buy one. And after using it once we decided we should keep it. Maybe in my case you didn’t create the monster, but you flipped the switch.

Question for the Creami experts... I know when I do fruit things I should spin on "sorbet". And I see the dairy recipes that say to use the ice cream settings. But what about if it's both? I just put together an experiment... unsweetened applesauce about 3/4 of the way to the max fill line, then mixed in one of those single-serving sizes of yogurt (caramel apple, which sounds like it will go well with applesauce). Since there's more fruit than dairy should I still use sorbet mode?
Can't wait to try this one because it was delicious when I tasted it. I dumped in a bunch of cinnamon also. mmmm

I’m not sure there’s a wrong button to push. I made an experiment yesterday that was much more sorbet than ice cream but had splashed in some half and half on top of all the fruit. I wasn’t home and dh thought it was ice cream and used ice cream Function and then said it wasn’t quite right so he splash in a little more cream and did mix in option and said it was perfect. Lol
