How can somebody PAY for advertising and not make sure it's correct? That reminds me of being behind a car at the Chick Fil A drive through with a gigantic stencil that covered the whole back window of her SUV proudly advertising her 'jewlerry' business.

My number one irritant is the use of the word “prolly” instead of probably. And can I add "amirite?" Oh, my God, drives me insane.

In addition to most of the examples already posted, one that gets my blood pressure up is "refer back". It's just refer.
People in NJ say "on line". I've lived here 32 years and I still can't get used to it. I say "in".

I saw a commercial this weekend for a local car dealership. They are a Chevrolet dealer. A banner on the top of the commercial for the entire length had Chevrolet spelled "Chevorolet". How can no one see that, or proof read it??! I’m part of a nonprofit that hosts a big event each year. One of our sponsors is the local Maserati dealership. Miss Grammar-Hammer who had an ad made up spelled it Maserti repeatedly. Fortunately, we caught in time to save $$$ on reprinted newspaper ads. 😫

Was it here that I found out about the facebook group - Chester Drawers? lol.
Younger people around here are saying "lets do a cheers" instead of a toast. Drives me crazy!
I'm still not used to the term "grow your business". It just doesn't sound correct.
We have a local newscaster that says "in regardS to...." I once googled it and I guess either is correct but it still annoys me.
My regional pet peeve is that the mountains that I grew up in are the Sierra not Sierras. (does that "that" bug anyone in that sentence? hahaha
What is Creami?

Recently I’ve been watching Rachel’s English on YouTube. She helps English learners pronounce words so they sound like a native speaker. Along the way she addresses sounds that are deleted or changed. I find it fascinating! Here’s one of her videos on words where we don’t actually say the “t”. You can check out her other videos from there. youtu.be/5svtIgYDJDII love stuff like this---thanks!

1. * received a home made graduation announcement from someone in EDUCATION, and it said "YOUR invited" ....NO !!!! (this was 15 years ago, and it STILL bothers me!) 2. IT's instead of ITS example " A dog and its owner wonder if it's sunny outside" (Many people write "a dog and it's owner---NO !!!! )
3. Would OF Could OF Should OF 4. Words I'm sooo sick of: UNPACK----the WORST! > Influencer Intentional Transparent Vibes
Slowly getting sick of "SPACE" *example: I don't care for influencers who aren't in an intentional SPACE.
All the things All the feels These ones Makes me feel some kind of way What even is that

All the things All the feels These ones Makes me feel some kind of way What even is that Oh yes, all of those. Also "We did a thing". UGHHHHHHHHHHH Either just say "we did something" or just say what you did. Just telling me what you did (got pregnant, bought a house, wiped your butt) will tell me you did "a thing" without you needing to announce that you did a thing.
