For a casual shoe that won’t melt! Looking at 115 degrees. TIA!

I live in my Asics. I buy them from a pricey local shoe store that custom fits shoes to my feet. In fact, I need a new pair. They last a long time. Still, a comfy pair of sneakers can go a long way in Vegas. There is a monorail on the strip to help, but you'll still be walking a lot.
You didn't ask, but one of the most fun shows I've ever seen is The Blue Man Group. It's so clever, funny and amazing. You'll leave feeling really good. Have fun.

At 115 degrees I wouldn’t be going anywhere during the daytime. 😆 If the other casino/hotel wasn’t right next door, I would wait till the evening or take a taxi/Uber.
Downtown is doable in that heat because there is a covering, and the casinos are all right next door to each other. You are only out of the A/C for a minute or two.
Have fun! Stay cool and drink lots of water!
ETA - It will take a lot for your shoes to melt. Wear what you find is the most comfortable. I would probably wear a sandal type shoe. I hate wearing shoes when it is hot.

In all honesty, you don't need a casual shoe. You will be doing a lot of walking, you need a good pair of walking shoes that are comfortable. Trust me Enjoy your trip - hope you win some money!!

Something with a thicker sole...even with shoes the pavement will feel hot!

You need good, supportive shoes. A good athletic shoe would be my choice these days. I have worn my Chacos in Las Vegas and that’s worked out pretty well for me, too.
If I wanted a ‘fancy’ shoe for evening, it would be Birkenstocks.
I’ve been to Las Vegas many times in July/August, and it’s super hot. There is some truth to the “but it’s a dry heat”, as a person living in a humid climate. I didn’t find it all that bad. You’re ducking in and out of casinos, hotels, and stores so often that it really is fairly tolerable.

10 days?!? I’m over Vegas in 3 days tops My feet feel best on long vacations lol it’s a lot of walking if I rotate shoes. Take 2-4 comfortable, broken-in shoes of different styles and brands to rotate between. I would take a pair of athletic shoes, Birkenstocks, flat sandals for shoes/concerts, and my trusty pair of Nike Celsos that never hurt my feet.
