I won an item on eBay for a 99 cent bid with $5 shipping.
I just noticed that the seller has only bought 3 items more than a year ago and has never sold anything. Would you be concerned?
I don't know why, but this is making me slightly paranoid. The worst case scenario is that I'm out $6, right?

Everyone has to start somewhere. It's a relatively small value so I wouldn't too concerned, and as myshelly said, if it doesn't arrive you can dispute it.

I would not stress it over a $6 item.

I wouldn't be concerned. eBay is very pro-buyer. I think sometimes smaller sellers give better customer service. feedback is important when you're trying to build a good seller reputation.i think you'll be fine. If not, eBay is on your side.

I wouldn't be the least bit concerned. It's a $6 item, and ebay is so pro-buyer, that they lean towards enabling bad buyers/scammers. If you don't receive your item, you will absolutely get your $6 back unless something totally non-related to the seller goes wrong---like you gave them the wrong address, for instance.
