I am not sure Amazon Thank you worked, but thank you to the pea who sent the Color Monster book and the pea who sent the Friend Like Me book. Those will both be first week of school reading and I have already planned out activities to go with both. And thank you again revirdsuba99 for the books you sent! I am so excited to add them to our classroom library. They will also be read aloud the first week of school and many times after that! I sat down and read them all the second I got them, they are all wonderful! Thank you again 2 mystery peas and revirdsuba99 !

I hope the givers of two books that I received today will see this post. There was no gift note or receipt in the box, and chat with Amazon didn't allow me to access the info.
Some lovely peas sent me the books "Don't Hug Doug" and also "Spring Story" and I am so very grateful! These are both amazing, and I have already read both to my preschool kids. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your generosity! The PEAS are just amazing in so many ways!

Thank you again to the very generous revirdsuba99, for a book and decals for my walls that make it look like the students are looking out a space capsule! ❤️ I also just received a copy of the “I Have... Who Has...?” game. There was no gift receipt, so THANK YOU!

I received the pens revirdsuba99 (not sure how to tag).
I want to thank everyone who has so generously donated to our Pea teachers! I know how much it means to me and I know the others feel the same! I don’t think I can thank you all enough!
Tomorrow I teach my first basic math class! I will be using the manipulatives, white board erasers, expo pens, and number lines I have received! I’m very excited!
Again, thank you so much!!

I received two lovely books without a name.
“The Way I Feel” and “This Very Tree.”
Thank you so much to the sweet Pea! Both are going to be used next week.
“The Way I Feel” will be used as we discuss characters. “This Very Tree” will be part of Patriot’s Day discussions.

I kept telling them, No they are a gift!!! Again so glad. PS:. I bought the tree book for my stash, someday my DGSs may have kids... It is a beautiful book!!!

I already mentioned thanks for the social/emotional face game, but I was able to use it repeatedly during my conferences. All of the students were really into it, and it was a great was for me to ask simple questions to the kids while the parents filled out paperwork. One of the parents is a speech pathologist and she thought it was awesome and took a pic to get for her own practice. Thank you again!

gramma thank you for the hoodie and mats! They showed up today. Can't wait to make my hoodie and share one with my kids! They JUST noticed I have a heat press and cricut and vinyl in my classroom. We've been in school since August 5 and the press and cricut and vinyl have all been on a cart in my classroom. I have no idea how they missed it. They also recently noticed the 3D printer that's been sitting on a table all by itself since then. My kids aren't very observant apparently. LOL

I just wanted to say thank you again to all that have helped teachers on this thread.
I was just looking at what is left on my list and trying to prioritize what I need, and I was honestly overcome with emotion for the support all of you gave to many classrooms that do not directly impact your children. It’s both sad and inspiring that these requests have to be filled by the general public because school funding is so messed up.
Thank you to all that helped a teacher out.

Yes, thank you to all the peas who either donated to my classroom or another pea classroom. I read the books I received this week to my class (one each day) and told the kids a friend of mine gave it to our class and they were very impressed! I will be rereading them all several times this year and many years to come. Thank you so much.

Thank you to all that helped a teacher out. I so agree with this! I was assisting another school with assessments on Friday. They are not a Title One school like we are. I was testing in a book closet as they have an overflow of first grade students this year. Since they are not a Title One school their funding is different and they have an actual book closet with books teachers can use for small group reading instruction. They have 2 shelves with decodable readers, like I have been looking into getting for my students, for teachers to use with their students. A very heartfelt thank you to all of the peas who purchased things off of my wishlist. I finished categorizing/labeling the decodable readers two weeks ago and just stepped back and looked at them on my shelf with a sense of thankfulness that people were willing to help out my students when they have never met any of us. I had another teacher come into my room with some assessment questions and I was able to show them to her and she was also amazed by the generosity of the peas.

I came home today to 2 packages with some bug themed decodable books. What a great surprise! There is no paperwork at all in either of the packages so I can only post my thank you on this thread and hope that the generous person who sent them sees the thank you. I am guessing that both packages are from the same person and for some reason Amazon sent them separately. Anyway, to whomever sent them - thank you so much! I was just speaking with a classroom teacher and another intervention teacher in my building today about how much lower some of our grade levels are this year and trying to brainstorm how we can close the gap to get them closer to where they need to be with the resources that we have that don't match what they need the most.
Thanks so much! These will definitely be put to good use. I can't wait to show them to those two teachers tomorrow!
