LA peas, I’m curious who you're voting for in the mayoral race, Karen Bass or Rick Caruso. If you want to tell why, even better Full disclosure, I don’t live in LA so I won’t be voting…but if I could I’d lean towards Karen Bass. I just feel like voting for Caruso is like voting for trump. I see nothing but him lining his own pockets off being mayor.

Bumping this. I’d really like to hear about your vote for mayor. I know the smash and grabs are rampant in LA but I just don’t know that any mayor is gonna fix that.

Anyone willing to share how they are voting? It looks like it’s going to be a very close race.

I don't live in LA county either but if I could vote I'd vote for Bass. There is something skeezy about Caruso . I can't put my finger on it but he is just not believable to me. I am sick of politicians who are in it for themselves and that is the vibe he gives off. However, I haven't done a deep dive into either one of them because I can't vote in that election.

This thread made me do some reading. Seems Bass is ahead by double digits in polls.
Also, Caruso has spent around $92 million compared to Bass’ roughly $8 million. And the fact that he changed from republican to Democrat 18 days before filing for office makes his intentions suspect. He has been a life long republican.
He bills himself as an outsider (to politics) and a builder/ businessman. We know how that turned out when a “businessman” conned his way into the White House. I would hate to see that happen to Los Angeles.
