Fashion question I hope maybe I’ll get some responses here —
Headed to Yellowstone next week with 5 nights inside the park including 3 nights at Old Faithful Inn - we have reservations in the nice dining room - what would you wear?
I’m planning to wear my typical shorts, tees and hiking shoes during the day but in the evenings I’m thinking I’ll be a bit dressy with dresses (totally need some summer dresses!) plus just hanging out in the lodge, at the bar etc I want cute clothes.
Also would you bring your Campus Frye boots to Yellowstone? (Just silly questions, humor me lol)

Missed your second job. What will you be doing? checking bags/security at college games Weekends or just whenever they have games? Seems like a pretty low key stress after teaching all day.

Probably by October I'll stop wearing shorts. Then out will come the lightweight jackets. The saddest day though is when I start wearing socks and shoes again instead of sandals. That is usually by November. I hate to wear shoes. December is when I start wearing real fall clothes - long sleeve shirts, jeans, etc. I don't wear boots too much.

If I’m going to the grocery store or another errand, I’ll usually wear leggings and a longish sweatshirt. I live in sweatshirts fall and winter. Most are Dallas Cowboys or TCU. But, I have lots of different sweatshirts, lots. If I’m going somewhere that I don’t want to look so casual, I’ll wear leggings or skinny jeans, crew neck tee and a cardigan.

In So Cal we don't think about autumn until some time in Nov. I typically wear shorts on Halloween!
I don't think there is anything in particular I need, and not being much of a shopper, not being in need is a great thing.

The lodge is casual - but wear what you love! Have a great time.

I LOVE when the weather gets to the point that I can wear jeans (or leggings) and a sweatshirt! I have a ton of them. An oversized, comfy looking sweatshirt is my go-to souvenir when I travel (I just got one from York Beach, Maine a couple weeks ago and my BFF gave me one they bought for me in Idaho this summer a couple days ago ). A lot of mine are also Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots & Boston Bruins.

The only big thing I have on my list is a pair of camel suede knee high slouchy boots to go with some fall-transition dresses from last season. Id also like a new pair of ankle-length straight-leg jeans.

This is the time of year when I start buying fall clothes and then get pissed that I can't wear most of them till the end of October. 😄
I've gotten two pairs of jeans and two pairs of jeggings and a pair of regular pants--I've lost some weight so I need new pants. I know the jeans will work, not sure I'm up for jeggings but I can always send them back if need be.
And I've gotten a long-sleeve waffle-knit tee, a hoodie/tee, and a fleece shirt/jacket--I don't need any of those, but they're in different colors than I usually wear, so hopefully they'll mix things up a bit. And I'll probably look for a casual/dressy pair of shoes. Being down a few more pounds makes me feel more excited about trying some new stuff for fall.
