Thank you! š I think I'm so tired that I've got no energy for anything but chit chat today. I will admit that after that concert last night I'm a bit inspired to get out my bass and play. I haven't played since Esther died.

I do love cheese! And just to let you know, Jeremy suggested pizza for dinner just now. So I totally called it. Lol! Yay! We can be friends!! We can all be friends, because cheese is great stuff. I can't stand cooked zucchini, but I love cheese. Mushy, cooked zucchini is mushy, yucky stuff. Go ahead and "Boo" me for a change! Though shredded, raw zucchini is great in salads. jeremysgirl , I wish we lived in the same town. Our squash plants are thriving. I make a pretty dish w/chicken and squash when it's in season in our back yard. BLECH!
jeremysgirl, break out your bass and play to your heart's content. I'll break out my voice and we can jam.

jeremysgirl, break out your bass and play to your heart's content. I'll break out my voice and we can jam. I do love any kind of squash. But I do like zucchini and yellow squash roasted in the oven with Italian seasoning. Yum. And I love a good fried zucchini. And I will definitely eat zucchini in pasta too. I guess I just like it. And I will tolerate peas so it's not like I hate them. I just will not make them myself. But if someone else is serving them or if they are like in a potpie, I will just go ahead and eat them. I feel the same way about mushrooms.

They ran my jetted tub for the first time in about 15 years so now I have a gross tub to clean ... I'll leave you to imagine the stuff that came out of those jets . At least they know that it still works! I'm 100% putting this on your ex. He should have known the tub would be tested and made sure it had been run and clean. Most of the crowd was over 50 and Eric Clapton is 77, I'm sure everyone would have been fine with a 4pm dinner and a 5pm show. š This made me LOL and I completely agree. We laughed but as the years went by it did cross our mind that we might never see him perform again. A friend saw the Eagles just before Glenn Frey died and it hit me hard. Definitely motivated us to see Elton John in 2019. The DJ's on the station I listen to were discussing him on Friday, speculating as to weather he will sing at the Queen's funeral!! I don't know. Elton was great friends with Diana and I'm not sure how King Charles would feel about this. I could see Paul McCartney or Tom Jones performing. The girls are just darling, sueg! How awesome that you are heading back for Christmas. I'm team pea. Just not mushy canned peas. I'm not sure why they exist. Love every other version. I think fridge shopping is on the list today. I've already roasted cauliflower for my new favorite salad and will toss it with the herbs, pomegranate and pistachios when completely cool. I have potatoes that need to be cooked and not sure what I want to do with them. The guys will have grilled steaks and we will all have grilled shrimp, so maybe grilled potatoes?

bc2ca I think Paul McCartney is a much better possibility than Elton John. He had a real fondness for the Queen.

We drove home today from the final softball tournament of the year (for us- the team has one more in Las Vegas that we are not going to). That was a 4 and a half hour drive, starting in rain. We will probably order pizza tonight. Dh and I took tomorrow off as well, so we'll figure out groceries then.
As an aside, where we were in Indiana is the city that has the Albanese gummy bear (and chocolate) factory and store. It was amazing! We spent way too much there, but super fresh 12 flavor gummy bears are worth it!

bc2ca, I'm thinking mostly of Princess Diana. Elton John had his priorities in order. On another note, I have to "boo" you, too. Hate to do it, but you love peas. Tsk-tsk. jeremysgirl, mushrooms are perfect. The texture and the flavor...They soak up that butter and garlic and it's just love at first sight.

Welp! NASCAR is on now. Guess it's time for me to either read a book or listen to an audiobook while I crochet. There's nothing I dislike more than NASCAR. Worse than peas, mushrooms, and country music..šš

Today is my birthday - 57 years young! DH and I are going out for supper tonight and my SIL will be joining us.
I babysat my grandbabies overnight last night. I was worried about the youngest as heās been waking up a few times during the night lately. Thankfully he only woke once, had a bottle and back to sleep until 7 am. I can deal with that.

sueg, Priceless! We had church this morning and then lunch. I worked on my mixed media project a bit and I'm watching Justin Fields and the Bears take on SanFran. DH is a SanFran fan, but I'm a Fields/Bears fan, so we're a house divided. I wanted to take a nap but the game is too good. Tonight we have a worship night at church and I'm really looking forward to it. Probably bringing home a pizza afterwards and watching more football.

A niece is in town, so weāre all going out for Thai food tonight. Last night I made chicken and stuffing with gravy (donāt worry, I didnāt go to any trouble, itās better living through chemistry ā¦ and stovetop stuffing), one of those dishes I save for the weekend because the 13yo doesnāt like it. Then he was here, anyway. He ate out with friends! Including girls! We have reached that point. I love peas, zucchini, mushrooms, cheese, and country music. Also beets, even though no one brought them up. And (shame-faced) the kid and I both like our veggies a little mushy. Good thing, because I always end up over-cooking them even when I try not to. He has oral allergy syndrome, which makes it hard for him to eat most fruit and vegetables unpeeled, raw, or lightly cooked. A very happy birthday to you, taylortroop!! jeremysgirl, get out the bass. Iāll be singing along with you in spirit. sueg, LOVE your photos, especially that first one. So sweet. Glad youāre going back for more in a few months.

I love peas, zucchini, mushrooms, fresh green beans off the vine (and roasted), cheese but not country music. Some country I can stand, just not the twangy stuff. lucyg my niece has that as well. Very limiting, plus her nut allergy. Happy birthday taylortroop!! sueg what darling pictures!! Today we are having Vietnamese takeout.

We went to get Dexter and he is much better. We are both tired and are having chicken cordons from M&M with a salad and maybe yellow beans or broccoli or nothing.
I ate horribly today so I am looking forward to eating better tomorrow.
