Hi everyone! I'm going out for breakfast with my mum soon ... dd's might show up if they can fit it into their busy schedules! My day today will be spent doing laundry and maybe a bit of work on the computer ... laundry is a must do ... work probably won't happen A few peas showed some wonderful photos of themselves yesterday! I thought that, instead of a meme, I would post a photo of me ... this is from Facebook when my second conditional sale came in! It would be great to see more photos of our Dinner Tribe ladies! My Hello Fresh and Inspired Go meal boxes get delivered today! As usual, I don't remember what I ordered ... I'll cook a Hello Fresh meal tonight of some sort! . Inspired Go is my gourmet salad service ... I take them to work ... so good! What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a relaxing Sunday everybody!

Hi leannec! You are just a beautiful woman inside and out! I have decided that today I will pull out all the scrapbook kits I have received the past few months and organize them. I haven't even taken them out of their packages. But I will see what's there and if I can match cards to some photos. It is so, so humid in Michigan today. It rained last night (with my laundry on the line) and now it feels like a swamp. At the end of this week we are supposed to have some cooler weather and I just cannot wait. These temperatures are for the birds. And remind me I said this when it is April and still freezing and I'm sick of winter. Lol! Tonight's dinner will be steak for Jeremy. Salmon for me. And some mashed potatoes. And either broccoli or cauliflower whichever Jeremy wants. Oh and I know you've all seen me. But I thought I'd post a pic of me and Chloe. She's a beautiful girl. Looks nothing like her mother.

Good Morning! Headed to the grocery store so I do have something to fix for tonight. Going to try and start making some fall cards this afternoon. Maybe go to a grandsons soccer game. Need to enjoy this summer like weather while it lasts. It wonāt be around much longer and I am a warm weather girl! Beautiful picture leannec! I love your backsplash and countertop. I plan on fixing Bar-B-cups tonight. Simple and something the grands will eat.

I agree with you about the change in seasons. I think thatās why I love where my parents live(SC), they still get four season but their winter is maybe a week.

Part of my problem with winter is the lack of sunshine. Not a problem here in Alberta! Almost every snowy winter day is full of sunshine! I love the four seasons we have but I don't really go outside so it really isn't a big deal to me. I hate driving in the winter though!

Michigan is notorious for lack of sunshine. I agree that if we had more sun, it would be better for all of us. There is something nice about sunshine reflecting off the snow.

We arrived safely in Croatia and got checked in. We have a welcome cocktail reception at 6 and dinner at 7. No idea what we're eating. I am exhausted and can't believe we are finally here.

we are having thai leftovers. the cost has gone up quite a bit in last two weeks. but I'm sure it is governed by the cost of ingredients. laundry, cleaning up...a grey day here but currently not the storm predicted.

Our cold, wintery weather continues her. We have gone from summer to late fall in just two weeks! We went to church this morning and I have been being lazy in front of the TV since lunch. I have at least been getting some knitting done - today I have been swatching for a sweater for me. It will be really simple in a pretty multi- coloured yarn. I also have yarn arriving tomorrow to make Sophiaās mermaid tail which will be a Christmas present. Dinner tonight is chicken thighs which DH will magic into something yummy. My photo was taken by my younger DS when we were out for dinner the last night I was in Australia.

Today I am cleaning, preparing for the week, and watching football.
Both of my kids and my son's gf are coming for Sunday dinner (we do it every couple of weeks) so I am making chicken parm tenderloins, cheese tortellini for the kids, and gf spaghetti for me. We will round it out with some farm fish corn on the cob (I have a farm about 5 minutes from here that just puts the corn out and you leave money)
I wish I had a decent picture of me...that is what I'd also what is stopping me from checking out dating sites (as a time passes/to see what is out there as I am perfectly comfortable on my own)

There's football and/or a nap in the afternoon. Dh will fend for dinner. Enjoy your day, my tribe.

There's my beautiful friends KelleeM and sueg! And here, you wanted to see scrapmaven and she could be Jennifer Lawrence's twin. I want to know what kind of skin cream she's using.

jeremysgirl, I look great for almost 60, don't I? HAHA! I don't read the fashion magazines, so I had no idea who was on the cover. I actually, look nothing like Jennerifer Lawrence, but I wouldn't cry if I did.

I actually, look nothing like Jennerifer Lawrence, but I wouldn't cry if I did. I don't read them either and I don't really watch TV and movies so I only have a cursory understanding of who Jennifer Lawrence is. But as soon as you said that, I was like I'm going looking for the vogue cover this month. I've seen your face and you are a beauty. And you have great skin. 60 is nothing.

Hi friends! Pizza and wings tonight for us; and meatloaf and green bean casserole for the week.
I also need to find yet another specialist. My bone density levels are in the osteopenia and osteoporosis levels at the ripe old age of 32; and because they've dropped 7%-15% in the past few years, my doctor wants me to see a rheumatologist. Lucky me.

Lucky me. Oof. I'm sorry. Get that checked. Hopefully it is something that can be slowed or reversed. I made some white chocolate macadamia nut blondies. Now I feel like Jeremy needs to go get some vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for them.

jeremysgirl Thank you! ā¤ļø Like (almost) all specialists, it's about a month for an appointment, but the reviews I've read of the office/doctor where I've scheduled it seem really good. I also have a phone call with the doctor who recommended it tomorrow, so hopefully she'll have some suggestions in the interim.

Great to see so many lovely ladies on the thread today! I didn't want to bump yesterday's thread, but this made me LOL, Delta Dawn: When we left, dad's coworkers gave him a Japanese fishing float mounted on a plaque that said "average size Prince Rupert raindrop". rymeswithpurple, I hope you get some good answers. My mom took something once a week that worked wonders for her bones. I went down to the very busy beach (Super Girl surf competition at one end and harbor days celebration at the other) to walk and came home to a fridge in the garage! And a very, very, very wet and dirty floor! So I mopped up the mess, washed and dried the entire downstairs and am finally getting my first coffee of the day. Dinner will be grilled salmon, asparagus and something TBD (couscous? rice?). The fridge is bare and I need to figure out meals for the week. DH heads out of town for a couple nights tomorrow, we are all home Wednesday, then I'm gone until Sunday and he leaves Friday through Monday. DS starts classes this week and will be on pup duty.

rymeswithpurple, I hope you can get in sooner than a month. Rheumy tests are simple. You'll have labs drawn,( a lot of vials) and the doctor will assess you based upon both clinical presentation and labs. It can take a while to get your diagnosis, so be a patient patient. I hope all is well and it's an easy issue to manage. jeremysgirl , I agree that you need to send Jeremy out for caramel and a good vanilla bean ice cream. Then invite us all over for dessert. bc2ca , sounds like cooking will be very different this week. I vote for you to take it really easy. taylortroop , Happy Birthday to your son.

bc2ca Thank you! I currently take prescription level vitamin D weekly, and supplement that with daily calcium. Fortunately, my vitamin D levels are (finally) in the "normal" range, so at least there's that. scrapmaven Thanks! I'm no stranger to bloodwork. I had an endocrinologist I saw as a child/early teen (I think that was when I saw her) who requested a TON of bloodwork. The phlebotomist, upon looking at the orders (I think it was something like 15 vials) was like, "She really doesn't like you, does she?" No, sir. No she does not. I did request to be put on their waitlist if something earlier opens. You are all so sweet. I can't thank you enough for always being there to provide advice and info. You're the best!
