After my covid shot yesterday it kind of knocked me out. Today was much better but we for the most part relaxed. I did some financial stuff. Yesterday we took out bento boxes but the side dishes were so filling we had the teriyaki meals and rice tonight with some asparagus. scrapmaven I sure hope she comes around.

Question for the dinner tribe....do you meal plan/prep? I have the hardest time with the planning...How do you know on sunday what you want for dinner on thursday??? Do you have regular meals you rotate through??? I do a very basic level of meal planning. Each week, I like to have a variety of proteins - beef, chicken, pork, fish vegetarian - and then I think about what to make with each. We also have meal types - stir fry, curry, pasta etc that I rotate through. We do our main grocery shop on Saturday, and plan from there. We will plan based on what looks good at the supermarket, rather than decide on meals then shop. I also get Dh to write on the calendar evenings he knows he won't be home for dinner. So far, this week's plan is: Steak tonight, with pasta and veggies, chicken curry tomorrow and Wednesday DH will be out for work, so I'll have leftover lasagne from last night. Thursday I'll shop again for Th/Fr.
