If any pea gets one and doesn't wait till December to open it or knows someone who got one and has opened it can you share what is inside.
I am wondering if it is worth the cost. I won't use it as a calendar but would rather just open it for the contents.
The rainbow and truck die aren't making me want to get it nor the tiny embossing folder for a strip of paper but if there are some good dies, I might get it.

Sigh, I should stay off this board . I ordered it. Thanks for the reminder! The shipping was $19 dollars though. I believe they're supposed to ship sometime in November and they have limited quantities, so it may be sold out before we get it. If I open it early, will let you know if the contents are worth it. I love everything Spellbinders, so I think I will like everything since you get 14 dies.

I ordered it this morning. I added other stuff to my order so shipping was free - but I had to have it shipped to my MIL's condo in Florida and I'm in Canada - so I'll have to figure out how to get it here haha.
Just the fact that is has so many dies makes it worth it to me. I love Spellbinder's dies, and especially their smaller ones of flowers and leaves and words - they're so versatile. They list the basic contents on the website - how many dies, embellishments, etc are included. The value seems good. I bought the Taylored Expressions one last year and it was definitely not worth it - I feel like I barely got anything by the time the 24th rolled around - some glitter, some embossing powder, one small snowflake die, one small matching stamp, and a few other bits and bobs. Some of the days were coupons or things I couldn't use. That calendar cost $79, so already Spellbinders seems like a better deal. I still can't believe I paid $79 and got essentially nothing.

I got the calendar because I like fun surprises. I also got lucky I bought ii when they had it available first to crop and create attendees and had the coupon code working. So I got the discount and shipping was only $8. I don’t think they had their correct shipping rates in there when I ordered so I got a great deal. It was $58.52 total with taxes to me. The box costs $49.99 so I thought that was a good deal.

I missed the Spellbinders class and most of the meet and greets because of personal and work stuff that came up. I'm so annoyed with myself.

marg - Thank you for your review of the TE Advent calendar. Due to your comments, I went to You Tube and found some videos of last year's calendar and I found myself agreeing with you. Too many stickers, sticky notes, pencil etc. Probably only half was usable scrapping items. I ordered the Spellbinders calendar instead. Paid an arm and a leg for shipping, but in the long run, I think it will be worth it. (scrappinheather - I paid 18.14 for shipping! You did get a deal!)

$12.16 for shipping to CA. With taxes it was over $15, but I had a $10 creative rewards code waiting for me, so all-in-all $55 shipped. I'm looking forward to this. I've never done a crafty advent before!

I too purchased this, must have been the day before yesterday. The shipping is outrageous IMHO. I think it was $16.50 to Seattle.
I don’t celebrate Christmas, and my son and his partner are here for Thanksgiving this year and not Hanukkah (no other family), so I figure I deserve a little treat during December, yes?!? In C&C over the weekend (I cannot recall the names of the Spellbinders team - was one of them named Kim?) they were very clear that they felt they had under-ordered. After fulfilling their retailer’s orders, they have less that 2900 left. IIRC they also said that their retailers have been pre-selling it and have wanted to come back for a reorder but they are out of luck. So my point is, if you’re thinking about it, don’t waffle toooooo long!

Adding on to what MichyM said. I looked earlier today for cheaper alternatives. One store in the US had only 1 calendar left and the other retail sites I could find where all in Canada. Spellbinders itself seems to be the only option left for the US. My shipping was expensive, but I live in North Carolina, they're in Arizona, so I'm a good bit farther away.

I want a crafty advent calendar! (ignoring the fact that I bought the AE one).
Are there any others you've bought in the past?
I really love advent calendars. I already have 3 for myself (tea, funko star wars, ali edwards) but we don't really exchange a lot of gifts at our house. These are so fun.

I have not purchased this before, but HSN has a Crafter's Companion brand advent calendar. I watched the unboxing video of last year's kit and was intrigued. It included stamps, dies, stencils and a 6x6 paper pad.

Got my shipping notification too, excited. I love advent calendars. Got a puzzle one, sticker calendar, and a Sephora one. Also, Erin Condren is doing a 12 days of writing tools, so I had to get that too. I figured all the pens would be useful and I love using different types of pens. www.erincondren.com/12-days-of-writing-tools-advent-calendar.

It included stamps, dies, stencils and a 6x6 paper pad. Recieved this for Christmas last year, and it was super fun to open each of the little windows. Elements were themed mostly by the season. A good size for card making.

I'm totally getting this for my daughter. She's really into hand lettering. It's really not a bad price as you typically pay about $2 for a good pen, sometimes more. A sticker calendar sounds fun too.

Anyone get their Spellbinders advent calendar yet? Got it today but I'll wait to open it. Someone posted a spoiler video in case anyone's interested. youtu.be/WsyU5iEhK18I had to see the spoilers. I think it was a really nice calendar. None of it is really holiday related, so you could use the dies year round. I wish spellbinders would include a small picture of what the dies are supposed to look like assembled. They'll probably post something online beginning in December. But I think it would be helpful to include pictures inside the box.

That’s as much as I’m doing until it’s time to open in December.

That spoiler video is great. I did chuckle ever time she tried to get the product out of the box. Those glue dots are strong!

I didn’t get this but I’d loved looking everyday to see what it was for that day. I really liked a few things.
If you it, have you liked the items received?

I really enjoyed mine, although there were definitely a few things that aren’t my style. I did a YouTube video showing it all and am going to make projects with everything in a new series, too. youtu.be/gLUmB56vkro
