I have always used my camera for taking photos and have only recently gotten a new iPhone, so I have never printed pictures from my phone photo library.
I accidentally took all the pictures at my grandmother’s 100th birthday in Live mode. 🤦🏻♀️ I want to upload them and print them. Do I need to go in and “edit” each one by picking one of 3 second stills and turning off the live part or can I just pick the picture from my photo library and upload it? Thanks for any help.

Nope, just go into your library and upload it. You shouldn't have to edit it at all.

I don’t think you have to. I use Amazon photos as a back up and for printing and it only “reads“ it as a regular photo.

Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it. Just so you know, Apple will save your photo twice. Once as a jpeg and then also as a 'movie' file. So if in the future you download them to your computer or somewhere, you'd just choose the jpeg. I actually go through and delete all the '.mov' files as I never need those.

So much to learn…hahaha.

I never turn off live mode in my iPhone camera.
It gives you more pictures to choose from, so why would you turn it off?
It’s super handy if you’re taking pictures of kids, groups, animals, anything that’s difficult to capture.
As far as I know, it’s the default mode for iPhones and what most people use.
