He did retire years ago but he is back and better tun ever. His girls are all grown up so he is free to tour. I hadn't seen his tour list yet but if he isn't coming to Denver I am sure there will be a lot of disappointed fans.
In the same genre, Kenny Chesney is coming back to Denver, touring along side Jason Aldean and the seats are crazy expensive. I couldn't justify it because I don't even like Mr. Aldean. I bought tickets for the Blue Man Group for the entire family instead of 2 Chesney tickets. Why are concerts so expensive???

I saw the Eagles and at a different time Metallica (and Guns N Roses, but they sucked) at Mile High. Once I was on the field, the second time about the 40 yard line in the 100 level and the bands were at the goal line. They were both pretty decent, but I sure wouldn't pay to be up on the 500 level. By the commercial, it looks like the stage might be at the 50 yard lines, so at least it wouldn't be so far away, but still...

My husband and I saw him in St. Louis last night, and he still sounds amazing! He only did two songs from his new album - all the rest were his old classics. I was in awe of the amount of energy that he still puts into his performance. Justin Timberlake attended, I found out later, but I think his seat was better than mine so I didn't see him

I'm going to see him Friday night. He'll be in town with Trisha Yearwood. I'll report back!

My DS saw him last month in Minneapolis. Sounds like his concert was amazing (as usual per Garth).
