DS moved out in Sept. and only bought himself 4 towels. I want to get him a few more for Christmas, along with a lot of other things he still needs, so I don't want to spend a ton on towels. I prefer thinner towels because they're easier to dry in the dryer. I'm reading mixed reviews on these Kohls The Big One towels. I don't know how to do a link, but here it is copied: www.kohls.com/product/prd-4569328/the-big-one-solid-towel.jsp?color=Medium%20Gray&prdPV=4Anyone use these and can give me a review on them? I was going to order online due to the sale today, and don't have time to go in the store and feel them for myself. Thanks!

I bought a dozen of these for our master bath when we bought this house. I’m not impressed. I do like a thinner towel too, but these just feel flimsy. And they ‘pick’ incredibly easily. They do the job but I’ll never buy them again.

Do you have a Costco membership? I still love the Charisma bath sheets we bought at Costco when we moved here ten years ago. They’re big, they’ve held up great, no complaints whatsoever. We bought them for 2 out of 3 bathrooms here at home and then bought more for the two baths at our lake cabin. I want to say I paid about $12 each for them, maybe less if I ended up getting some on special. They’re available individually (and cost less) in the warehouses. www.costco.com/charisma-100%25-hygrocotton-towel-sets.product.100400043.html

I have found they need to be washed and dried separately a few times before using or they shed all over you. The are not the same quality they used to be. The softness doesn’t last very long at all. We had better luck with the cheap Room Essentials towels from Target.

I’ve not had good luck with these either. I’ve really liked the Martha Stewart towels at Macy’s for a plush but thin/quick drying option.
