I have to get a white elephant gift for my book club. The theme is "something you didn't know you needed". Range is around $25. I want this to be something really funny, not practical. I'm not having much luck.
Help!!!!

I am out of the loop, I thought White Elephant was something you had on hand already. Times have changed!

A chopper thing for cooking ground meat, like this one link. I haven't used this exact style, but it looks like this is the new standard. ETA - sorry, just saw you wanted funny, not practical. I'll leave it anyway just in case!

Since you are in a book club, what about what of those personalized book embosser? But instead of having from the library of...you can put something funny there. Here's a link to a book embosser: From The Library of Embosser - Open Book Embosser - Custom Embosser | Great For Personalizing Books, Text Books and Journals and Other Documents With Raised Text a.co/d/4QOS9j8

I'll leave it anyway just in case! I wish I had bought this a long time ago. I’ve had mine for 5 months and it is an excellent kitchen tool!

How about funny AND practical? Last year I gave a squatty potty and poo-pouri. It was a hit.

The thing that was the biggest hit a couple of years ago at our family ones was Ove' gloves. They are so ugly, but they work so well. I swear by mine!

A blanket that looks like a tortilla A book of Vogon poetry (if you're book club likes sci-fi or Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), I'm getting one for my dd, it's a blank journal inside... if you look for funny gifts on Etsy there's a ton of stuff... I particularly like the Picolas Cage Christmas ornament

What about an assortment of treats/snacks from other countries? Amazon has a couple international snack boxes.

I gave a bacon explosion box once... it had bacon bandaids, air freshener and 1 of those as seen on tv bacon bowl makers...
You wrap bacon around the bowl and stick it in the oven and it makes a bacon bowl..

I did headlamps last year for my office gifts. Perfect for camping, gardening, blackouts, anytime where you are in the dark and still need both hands. Plus even if you have one, it is nice to have extras. Very useful, very popular, and I do not have any idea how I will top that this year.

Or similarly, there are beanies with lights in them and I even saw one with Bluetooth. I wear mine when walking the dogs at night, when poking around in the attic, etc.

My extended family does a "theme" White Elephant each year. This year the theme is "water" - which can be interpreted however you like. Limit is usually $25-30. I am getting this bidet from Amazon as one gift & I think it could qualify as something you need tinyurl.com/573aw52vI am also getting this "dehydrated water" as one of the gifts (I need three total for me, DH & DS) tinyurl.com/mtxhsk3r & will also probably include some cash in the tin. Last year, the gift that everyone kept fighting for was a mini fridge (like the one that holds 6 cans).

I am out of the loop, I thought White Elephant was something you had on hand already. Times have changed! I think it has evolved to mean an exchange of presents, where the present isn't intended for any person in particular. Then there are endless themes for the "White Elephant" exchange. Gag Gifts Your Favorite Items Re-Gifters Certain $$ Amounts Mix of all of the above!! LOL!

I gave Snoop Dog's Cookbook last year for a family Dirty Santa game. I was SHOCKED at how much it was wanted by everyone except my youngest old cousin lol It was stolen the max amount of times and then they all sat around for a while after the game flipping through it.
