What's your favorite Christmas movie, that you watch every year?
My favorite are: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. A Christmas Under Wraps (Hallmark) A Royal Christmas (Hallmark)
I also like the Walton's episode >> Best Christmas. That one I have to borrow that seasons DVD from the Library, so it's hit or miss on if I get to see it or not.

I love the George C Scott Scrooge. Also Christmas Vacation and the Ralphie one, though I don't know why I can't remember the name of that movie! I also love all the cartoons, Year Without A Santa Claus, Rudolph and Frosty.

Hands down my favorite Christmas movie is The Grinch with Jim Carrey. The one liners are the best. The way he stands. Five o'clock. Solve world hunger. Tell no one. Jury duty, jury duty jury duty. Help me... I'm feeling!
I also like some of the old cartoon classics.
I generally don't watch many movies, so the Lifetime or Hallmark ones aren't contenders.

White Christmas is my favorite Vera Ellen, Dean Jagger and George Chakiris are from my area and Rosemary Clooney lived just across the Ohio River. Heather French Henry former Miss America from Kentucky now owns Rosemary's house in Augusta Kentucky and it house the largest White Christmas movie memorabilia props. Along with movie props from George Clooney and Vera Ellen movies. Nina Clooney runs an Antique store in Augusta and is one of the kindest lady you will ever meet. On the second Saturday in December Augusta host The White Christmas parade and Nick and Nina walk around greeting people and taking photos.

So many, but all the Rankin Bass ones are must watches. Besides Rudolph we love Leprechaun's Christmas Gold and Life and Times of Santa Claus. White Christmas ( Bing and DK doing the Sisters song is one of the funniest things ever filmed, IMHO) Christmas in Connecticut Holiday Affair It's a Wonderful Life Star Wars Holiday Special Shop Around the Corner Elf
Emmett Otter Muppets Christmas Carol (best adaptation of the book. You will never convince me otherwise)
dtor
I love me some Christmas movies.

I wasn’t able to find it, but it was recently on HBO family, which I recorded. I love it so much. My favorites are - wrongo ! And that’s it’s, I’m not going. And his outgoing message. I don’t think I can put up my tree if I’m not watching the Grinch. ❤️💚❤️💚

I like the cartoon ones from my childhood -- Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown, The Grinch.
We just watched Spirited with Ryan Reynolds and Will Farrell. It was really really good. I love a good musical with lots of dancing.

Personally, I don't consider the Rankin-Bass shows (Rudolph, Frosty, etc) or Charlie Brown/Grinch to be "movies" - I consider them Christmas TV Specials and I watch them every single year!
As far as my favorite Christmas movies - I have so many that I love, but there are some that I must watch each year:
Home Alone (the first one) The Santa Clause (the first one) Christmas Vacation A Christmas Story While You Were Sleeping (more of a Rom-Com but takes place at Christmas) Elf It's a Wonderful Life Holiday Inn

White Christmas Christmas Vacation Joyeux Noël - this might be my favorite and the one we watch as a family. Elf

So many, but A Charlie Brown Christmas is number one. A pox on Apple for not allowing it on broadcast tv. I also love The Shop Around the Corner and Home Alone, Scrooge with Alastair Sim. I’ve watched A Christmas Story and White Christmas so many times that I can recite the dialog. I used to love It’s a Wonderful Life but once again, I saw it too many times. For the first time ever, I recorded a Lifetime Christmas movie. Santa Boot Camp, and only because of Rita Moreno.

Christmas Vacation Christmas with the Kranks
Normally I don't go for goofy slapstick, but these two movies are so well done! I think the silliness of them takes me away from any self-imposed need I have to be perfect during the holidays.

White Christmas is probably also my favorite movie ever. I have the DVD with Rosemary Clooney remembering it all. Fabulous! I do love Elf and I love watching Mr. Heat Miser and Mr. Cold Miser, but the rest of that show I don't love.

Too many!
I still have a shelf of Chritsmas dvds if that's any indication. Classics like: White Christmas Christmas in Connecticut It Happened on Fifth Avenue The Shop Around The Corner It's A Wonderful Life
Almost classics I'd say: Christmas Vacation A Christmas Story Home Alone
Newer ones, but not new: Love Actually The Holiday Elf even Serendipity
We just watched the new Christmas Story Christmas and Spirited. DH loved the first. I liked both. They totally built the house and block of houses from a Christmas Story overseas where they shot the movie and they had all the child stars return as adults. Pretty wild. As to Spirited, I'll watch Ryan Reynolds in anything. Yes, I'm that transparent. LOL
