I always set an alarm clock as well as my phone. The alarm clock I have is so hard to set because the settings are very hard to see (at the part on the back where you set the time/alarm/hour/minute, etc. My vision up close is very bad so I need something that is easy to read. I have looked at a few stores but can't find a good one. I am tired of asking a family member to set the clock for me all the time!

The easiest way will be a smart speaker, for example for any sort of Echo device just say "Alexa wake me at 8am"
If you want to see the time displayed, then Lenovo have a smart clock and there's also the Echo Show 5. Both of these go really dim in the dark so the bright light doesn't keep you awake and the bonus is you do it all by voice, so no buttons to press.

Here in Canada we have the CNIB (Canadian institute of the Blind) and they have locations that have large print items etc for sale. Perhaps you have something like that in your area.

If I have to get up really early, I set two alarms on my phone about 2 minutes apart. That way I can’t drift off for the 9 minutes and then start all over again with the snooze. It usually takes me about 20 minutes to come to, so I plan that into the alarm times. I am not a morning person!
