Dirty laundry goes straight to the laundry room hamper. This way there are no dirty clothes festering in baskets or hampers in the bathrooms or closets. No gathering of dirty clothes on laundry days, just sort and wash straight from the laundry room hamper.

I get ready for work the night before. I make my lunch, fix the coffee and lay out my clothes for the next day. I run my errands on my lunch hour so anything I need to bring goes by a the front door or in the trunk of my car. With this routine, I can wake up at 7am for work at 8:00 am and that usually includes a shower.
I do make my bed, clear my counters, don't let things pile up, pick up 26 items for put away, throw away or give away - all habits from my Flylady days!

Every time I use the bathroom, I drink a cup of water. Made it effortless to get the recommended amount. Bonuses are that my skin looks better, & I never get UTIs anymore. This is an excellent idea, but I'm going to drink only a quarter cup of water, because me and my tiny bladder go the the bathroom eleventy billion times a day! That frequency sometimes causes me to not be on top of my fluid intake, especially in winter, and February is the only time I get kidney stones.

Wow you guys, so many great ideas. However, it's really my Dh and Ds that need to read this and get on board. 😂

I agree with making the bed and cleaning as I'm cooking.
