That's so weird.
Don't people have limits on how they behave in public anymore? I guess they do it for the shock factor?
And embarrassment is not a factor anymore, is it?

It's meant to be a performance art exhibit. I think it's kind of interesting.

Well, there you go.
I tend to be pretty liberal when it comes to art, but sometimes I think I am getting old and more conservative and don't seem to relate to some of shock art the way I did in the past.

No! No! No! I did not need to add that image into my head. Now I have a bunch of ridiculous questions. How big were these battery packs? How many phones did she end up charging? Why did I see the pic and think it was Miley Cyrus at first? Are people not concerned with sanitation any more? What if she started her period?!

Am I the only one squeezing my legs together as tightly as possible after reading this or are there others?

I liked Usher as an artist. I enjoy his music. Then I read this. Um WTF? Now this model? Artist? Woman? Face palm? Clearly I must not understand art. I remember when I was 17 and I saw a naked sculpture in glass of a man staring at a woman at my parents' house in Japan. It was a beautiful piece and worth a lot of money. I wasn't so sure I would have that kind of thing on display though. It was beautiful though. That, at my age I get. A battery in a vagina? Not getting.

oh lol. Here's a person that probably wanted to be a feminist that is control of her body, but in return, she just took $20 from a man to watch her charge a phone from a battery pack shoved in her vagina.
Honey, all those guys are seeing is a naked chick with a battery pack in her vagina. Message. Lost.

Indecent exposure? Was this in a gallery? It looks like it was out on the streets. Oh, and I dont think being able 'to take two phones at a time' is something to brag about.

I'm getting old and conservative too, I guess. I can't even see "art" in that. It's like they are trying too hard to find something more shocking than the last shocking art exhibit.

I'm not seeing the connection between our dependence on technology and battery charges in one's vagina. The sexualization of women in technology, perhaps? The degradation of women for art, definitely.
