I live near peabay and as she said, we are having a disconcerting winter. No real measurable snow, but lots of rain and warmer temperatures. This whole winter seems more characteristic of our early springs--wet and temps in the 40s. A couple of nights ago we had loud thunder which is also very unusual for winter.

We got some snow during the night and this morning, but it all melted off the hard surfaces, so no one really needed to clear it. I’m in northwestern Illinois, on the Iowa-Illinois border.
I hired someone to do snow removal this year and he’s only been here three times - and none of them were for snow that was over three inches. I figure at least this way I’m prepared if we get a heavier snow, and I’ll be “in” for next year with the company.
We are supposed to maybe get snow on Wednesday but I haven’t seen how much is in the forecast.
We have had a fair amount of rain, and temps haven’t been all that cold. I have daffodils coming up.

In Colorado and we were supposed to get snow tonight. It was changed earlier this week to no snow. We've had 6+ different snowfalls already this winter, so I don't mine missing out on this one.

Another in Minnesota. We moved to Minneapolis in September after being away for 32 years. It never stops snowing! Our snowbanks around our driveway are a good 4’ high and that’s after some melt last week with the freezing rain. We had to shovel paths out in the back garden for the dog to go potty, as the snow was too deep for her to get through. (She’s a lab, but 10 years old and has never been in snow like this.)
DH and I keep looking at each other and saying, “What were we thinking?” But I keep reminding myself that it’s because of family. DS has been over twice this week for dinner, I’ve seen my brother and sister-in-law, and went to a movie with my parents this afternoon. Last week, DH took FIL to a doctor appointment and we visited MIL. But sometimes it’s hard to navigate all the visits with the snow!

Northeast Ohio here and until yesterday we had only about 4 inches total for the season. Yesterday we finally got about 6 inches and a good base of snow, so my snow monsters could play in the snow. We are so over all the rain and mud we have had all season. I heard this morning though we were getting Rain again on Thursday... NOT HAPPY! Give me the darn snow!!!!

I’m in Minnesota and we have had lots of snow. We have over 50 inches already, which is what we usually get for the entire season. The snow banks are really tall, the plows have come through a couple of times to push them back. We have not had the real cold weather this year that we usually get though. Shh! You said we haven't had the bitter cold weather and now we are getting that next week! I agree with jemali, we've had a lot of snow in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis.

Just outside of Minneapolis and we have had just shy of 50". At this rate we will pass the 91 season that included the Halloween Blizzard with almost 30". I'm running out of places to put it at the top half of our driveway and the mounds at the end of driveways are so hard to see if anyone is coming or trying to back out of their driveway. I'm ready for spring, but we have so much more to go before we get there.

Southern Wisconsin and we are way below average for the year. I think so far we have had 8" total. Should be close to 20"

I’m also in SE Michigan. I’m really hoping for a snow day at school on Wednesday. We haven’t had any this year.
