For meals, we have 12 oz glassware that were a wedding gift. For drinking water during the day, I have two 20 oz. metal cups with lids and straws from Starbucks. We pared down our coffee mug collection when we moved (two teachers accumulate A LOT of mugs over the years) so we have a variety. We use the same ones over and over, so we could/should pare down again.

I drink almost everything cold out of glass, but occasionally use yeti or MiiR insulated bottles.
I recently cleaned out my cabinet because we use the same ones all the time. I did donate quite a few but didn’t want to get rid of everything so I put the extras in the very high cabinets that aren’t full because I can only reach them with a ladder.

I drink tea and coffee out of porcelain mugs. I drink water out of glass tumblers and wine out of glass wine glasses. I hate drinking out of plastic containers.

I use a 16 oz drinking glass. I do not use ice so there are no rings. DH uses a metal insulated cup because he varies from coffee to cold drinks as the day goes on.

We recently renovated our kitchen which had me attempting to simplify the drinking situation. Lots of mugs were donated. They tend to multiply like rabbits in the cabinet. DH will never give up his red plastic Pizza Hut cup. It seems to live in the bathroom now though. I donated a bunch of cheap wine glasses that were race swag or has massive rims on them.
But for drinking, we'll use our hydroflasks, coffee mugs, then rocks glasses for most other stuff with wine glasses for, uh, wine.

This is me too although a year ago after returning from a trip I started using my Yeti 18 oz. daily at home to drink my ice water. I like that it keeps my water cold for so many hours vs. a glass that doesn't. I can't stand drinking out of plastic. We have hard water from a well at our house and although we have a full house water filter it still leaves a white film on our glasses after they are used for awhile. So frustrating. Since we were hosting Christmas this year I went to Crate and Barrel and bought some additional glass wine glasses and glass drinking glasses that were both on sale.

I drink water in a glass but I drink my coffee and tea from a Tervis because I love that it can stay hot for hours.

I don’t like drinking out of plastic cups. I use tall glass barware style glasses.

We had sooooo much drinkware, it was overtaking the kitchen. I did a big clean out just after Christmas, but I still have way too much. I use a Decor Double Wall Reusable Smoothie & Coffee Tumbler for water during the day. It sits on my office desk. I use a glass double wall coffee cup for my coffee. I use a ceramic mug for tea (which I don't drink very often). I use a drinking glass or a plastic tumbler for other cold drinks. I don't drink enough water during the day, so I make sure to scull a cup of water before each coffee. I either have a plastic cup near the sink, or once I've rinsed the milk jug (that I use to texture the milk for a cappuccino) I fill it with cold water and drink it. I use insulated plastic cups (I hate water rings) What are water rings?

For hot drinks, we use Starbucks You are Here mugs For cold drinks, I bring a Yeti home everyday from work (with tea) For protein shakes, Tervis tumbler with lid If no work that day, I sip from a Mason Jar with a handle, but other than hot drinks, always a straw. DH usually just grabs whatever we have.

I drink ice water from a yeti tumbler with a straw all day long. I have basic ikea pint glasses for guests and a wide variety of different stemware for different wines and cocktails.

I have these in the short tumblers and the taller ones. I love them. I found them originally at TJ Max many years ago for $5 or so each They do not break easily which is great, but I like that I can get replacements if needed La Rochere Dragonfly glasses

I prefer a regular glass drinking glass for cold beverages. We use the Fiesta tapered mugs for hot coffee/tea drinking at home, and we have several Yeti ramblers for hot drinks we take to work. And then there are the many, many plastic souvenir cups we've collected from sportsball events. DH loves them. But I've started culling the herd and I throw 1-2 of them in the recycling bin every few weeks. He'll never notice.

We have some tall glasses that are amazing. They are the perfect size glass. The stores I have bought them at have gone out of business but with luck Zellers will start selling them again if they open in Victoria. I have beer glasses for my protein and strawberry drinks which are great, too. I love our glass selections. If my dad says anything I know to just ignore him. He only knows electronics.

I drink awful Japanese green tea and I have this great blue mug. Everyone knows to leave it alone. I have coffee at home too but not always. I love my tea.

I am very matchy-match and live in a studio with a small kitchen, just a few cabinets.
I use:
Daily: Water: Acrylic short cup (4.5in high). I have four. Hot Tea: Ceramic tall skinny mug. I have four.
Occasionally: Hot Chocolate: Irish mug I have two. Juice: Ceramic cup (3in). I have two.
I don't entertain and rarely have someone stop by for a bit. I got rid of all my cocktail type glassware and the majority of my serveware.....long ago. Haven't missed it at all.

I mostly drink water, with an occasional sprite and I drink out of my variety of Stanley tumblers. I have 3 different sizes and use them all.

Can I take the extras to goodwill? I volunteer at a local charity thrift that supports our non-profit hospice organization. Believe me, we get tons of drinkware. Tons. Yup. I get inexpensive, mismatched cutlery at our local hospital thrift shop, too. My daughter’s three little boys do a disappearing act with forks and spoons, and she’s tired of replacing with the good stuff. I alternate between a glass tumbler and a tall drinking glass. I don’t keep a bunch of mismatched drinkware in my closet at this point, though I did when my kids were little.

I pretty much drink exclusively out of RTIC brand stuff since they are a local company. For my diet coke, I drink out of a tumbler, and my water is in a 30 oz water bottle. I don't drink hot beverages, but DH has a couple of mugs for coffee for home, and a some sort of travel mug for his commute.

We have those hard plastic solo cup knockoffs forms Walmart. They come in a few different colors and then we have big plastic cups we got at Costco awhile back. We use those for dinner mostly. During the day, everyone has their own insulated water bottle.

Not alone.
I mostly use insulated cups in our house. Trevis ones. I used the stainless steel cups too, mostly water overnight since it keeps it cold all night long.
I have a stainless cup at work as well.
Our coffee cups are the Starbuck's travel series.. I collect them but use them as well. My two kids at home drink coffee and like the size and like picking out a different city/state.
Then there are the mason glasses that my youngest likes the most.
Then there are my Pioneer Woman vintage looking ones that match my Fiesta.
Then the larger just plain plastic ones that you can get at a ballgame or wherever.
And then the million large water bottles that come from everywhere. I hate them yet we have them.

Dh likes a huge yellow plastic cup from a local BBQ place for ice water, uses a regular glass tumbler for everything else. Dh doesn’t use any kind of insulated cup and laughs at me for my use of what he calls my “sippy cups.” I tell him he doesn’t know what he’s missing - but he did buy me a purple insulated cup for my car. Would that BBQ place be Dickie's???

We have lots of different drink ware too. DH and I both use Contigo or Tervis tumblers for hot drinks. We also have favourite coffee mugs. Tupperware water bottles. Contigo water bottles. Assorted water bottles the kids have gotten from youth teams. I hung a shoe holder on the inside of my pantry door and all of the water bottles and tumblers are stored in the pockets there. That has helped a lot with the clutter in the cupboard. I could probably put half of the coffee cups and the water glasses into a box to donate and still have more than enough for our needs.

I love mugs and have collected them for years, so there are quite a few hanging around in my cupboards. Residing there are also a number of sets of tea cups and coffee mugs that were part of dish sets we purchased or were given over the years.
As to what we use, well... I have two identical stoneware mugs I alternate use of. My dh has one squat round stoneware mug and one taller heavy mug. Dd & dsil are here often and they each have a couple of large coffee mugs they use here. I also have a couple of to-go mugs I take when driving somewhere in the morning.
So that is about ten mugs we use. Why are my cupboards full of cups?

I have an assortment of glassware for entertaining. However, my favorite Fiestaware valentines java mug lives in my single-cup coffeemaker. I have my favorite wine glass. Growing up our drinking water was horrible, so everyone constantly tries to get me to drink water. A friend asked me, as a favor to her, to drink a Tupperware tumbler of water in the morning and afternoon, so that is used daily.

Noticing all the Peas who use Tervis or Yeti type tumblers as their main drinkware.
For some reason, it's never occurred to me to use those types at home. To me, they're only for use when I'm leaving my house.
We have a set of two sizes of glasses that get the most use. Still have a set of tiny plastic ikea kid cups hanging around despite the lack of kids here.
