I saw this last night on TikTok and I saw the story on CNN this morning. ABSOLUTeLY incredible find. The detail is just so incredible, I believe this may have been dated to the early 1500s! |

Yes, the most interesting thing is, how did it end up in a field? Did Catherine fling it out a window in anger when she heard Henry was fooling around with Anne Boleyn? Anyway, it's very beautiful and I'm happy for the guy being able to finance his son's education.

LOL the woman I saw on TikTok mentioned that after KH8 died, he may have passed it on to someone in his court, and that's how it ended up where it was found, away from London. But I love the idea that Katherine flung that shit right out the window.  |

But yeah, I like the idea of it being flung out of the window in a rage, as well. However it got there, it was amazing find! Imagine only starting metal detecting six months ago, and unearthing something like this! I am dying to know how much it will be sold for. |
