Today, mine is definitely the usage of “style.” As in, “I can’t wait to style my new earrings!”
Girl, you’re just going to wear them. And probably with your white mom clothes, because 99.99% of us in the world are basic and boring. 🤷🏼♀️😂

Ignorant or naive ( usually willfully ignorant ) people trying to play ‘gotcha’ with false or misleading information. They are loud, and wrong, but won’t shut the f up. The number of these types of people seems to be increasing and I honestly can’t deal with them..
That’s my petty bitch vent today.

I have to admit earrings are my thing though. I do own a pair of white jeans. Never heard the expression "going to style my _____" before though. My bitch would be people dropping cats off because they know we don't have the heart not to take them in. Up to 6 now...

Mine is out of sheer frustration. I am so sick and tired of spending a small fortune on hair products, trying to find the perfect combination for my hair. Every Facebook group, blog, Pinterest idea, etc. mentions a different line of products and they just keep getting more and more expensive. I can spend seven dollars for a bottle of shampoo or I can spend 53. It makes absolutely, positively no difference in the way my hair looks and behaves. It’s all hype and marketing. And a big fat lie.
I.give.up.

My youngest sister. She's proud of the fact that she's "brutally honest". You should be honest without being brutal.

And the $18 kenra hairspray always gets plugged up and I end up returning it. My cheap drugstore spray never has that issue. I am trying to stop buying all the recommended instagram stuff and use what actually works best. Those influencers are getting the products for free and getting paid to say how wonderful they are. I need to keep reminding myself of that, haha!

I’ve spent a lot of time (and money) investing in my relationships with my nieces and nephews. I don’t regret it at all, I absolutely adore them. But my son has gotten hardly anything in return from his aunts and uncles. I get it, their kids are older and have lots of activities and places to be but I can’t help but feel like he’s missing out on such special bonds. It hasn’t deterred me from buying Girl Scout cookies and Boy Scout popcorn, going to their games and plays and such, I’ll never punish them for their parents decisions. I’m just bummed.

A tax return is what you file.
A tax refund is what you may receive.
"Why is my tax return so low?" <---- grrrrr

Idk what they might sell at Target that is sulfate free, but might be worth a shot. ( I use Redken Frizz Dismiss)

Every year: it’s cold and/or it snows. Everybody starts bitching about how over it they are before we even hit January. We live in Maine, dipshits. It’s going to get cold and snowy and it lasts a long time. You can accept it and deal with it or leave, but I don’t need to listen to you complain about the inevitable.

Eta - and I only use sulfate free shampoo.

It just sucks doesn’t it? Not severe just enough to irritate you. Exactly - just achy and sore all over for no apparent reason...inflammation perhaps? Not enough discomfort to go to the doctor but enough to make you go "oooooo" every time you need to move around. Hope you start feeling better.

It’s not terrible just needs to go away. I really hope you feel better soon, too.

I know people are just being nice but please stop asking what happened to my knee. It’s annoying AF and happens way too often.
Yesterday a new person started at my job. I see her for the first time and she says “awwwww what happened”. I looked at her and said knee injury. I’m sure it was with a bit of an edge and she looked crestfallen. To make peace I gave her a brand new container of wipes since she was cleaning her office.
My whole thing is: if you have NEVER seen me before I guarantee you don’t know me like that to ask. Mind your business. I was minding mine. And now I’m down a whole canister of Clorox wipes.

The use of the phrase “glow up” when referring to redecorating or small renovation projects. What does that even mean?
Also, the incorrect usage of the word seen. It bothers me so much that I actually have a hard time using the word correctly. It just grates on my nerves.

That every middle-aged white man who's ever been on TV apparently plans to run for President of the United States (POTUS) in 2024. I want a President about whom I could say, "Oh, good. He's smart, well qualified, diplomatic, and has integrity" (like Adam Schiff, but I know that won't happen, & I've got nothing against Joe Biden). A zillion egotists running was how we wound up with TFG, folks. Maybe they should invest in an exploratory committee first, so they can find out nobody wants them (looking at you, Mike Pence).

I’ve used sulfate free, no silicone products for years. I did the “curly girl method”, the specialty expensive brands routine. I’ve purchased from my hairstylist. I’ve watched YouTubes, read blogs. Etc., etc., etc. I think I’m just burned out on chasing the ever allusive “perfect for me” hair products. Sigh. The OP did say petty and one cannot be more petty about something than about hair. I know, I know. I should count my blessings that I even have hair. Graying, fine, thin, frizzy, whispy, crappy hair. But, it’s hair. Pity party over now.

I decided to take a bottle on a tropical vacation years ago because they never give you enough conditioner at the resorts (at least for my hair). I liked it and because I can really put a lot on for the $1.25 price, my hair is always soft and I have very few split ends. My petty comment is that I work with someone who clearly does not understand how to speak correctly (as a teacher). She constantly uses double negatives, teaches words as proper nouns (common food) and sighs all day long. Everyone on staff avoids our room if she is in it.

My petty bitch is my office mate's printer. It literally squeaks out every single page...slowly. She must have printed over 200 pages of whatever between today and yesterday. I keep saying she should get a new one but instead she's going to let this thing die a long, painful, noisy death.
