What’s your “petty b!tch” vent today?

I can't be the only one who buys outfits to match a unique pair of earrings? I have to admit earrings are my thing though. I do own a pair of white jeans.  Never heard the expression "going to style my _____"  before though.

My bitch would be people dropping cats off because they know we don't have the heart not to take them in. Up to 6 now... 

My body aches. It’s not enough to tell the doctor but just aches.

Mine is out of sheer frustration. I am so sick and tired of spending a small fortune on hair products, trying to find the perfect combination for my hair. Every Facebook group, blog, Pinterest idea, etc. mentions a different line of products and they just keep getting more and more expensive. I can spend seven dollars for a bottle of shampoo or I can spend 53. It makes absolutely, positively no difference in the way my hair looks and behaves. It’s all hype and marketing. And a big fat lie.

It just sucks doesn’t it? Not severe just enough to irritate you. I will get some exercise later and hope it gets better.

I’ve spent a lot of time (and money) investing in my relationships with my nieces and nephews. I don’t regret it at all, I absolutely adore them. But my son has gotten hardly anything in return from his aunts and uncles. I get it, their kids are older and have lots of activities and places to be but I can’t help but feel like he’s missing out on such special bonds. It hasn’t deterred me from buying Girl Scout cookies and Boy Scout popcorn, going to their games and plays and such, I’ll never punish them for their parents decisions. I’m just bummed.

Oh, I feel your pain with that effing Kenra Hairspray. WTF? It clogs and I end up getting a big old jet of it right in my eye!

im not sure what your goal is but have you considered getting a keratin treatment?
I get one every six months and it transforms my hair.

Eta - and I only use sulfate free shampoo.

You as well. Right now it’s my left shoulder. It’s not terrible just needs to go away. I really hope you feel better soon, too.

The use of the phrase “glow up” when referring to redecorating or small renovation projects. What does that even mean?

Also, the incorrect usage of the word seen. It bothers me so much that I actually have a hard time using the word correctly. It just grates on my nerves.

Every time I get my hair cut, the person will ask what I use on my hair.  I laugh and say that my conditioner is from the $ Tree.  I decided to take a bottle on a tropical vacation years ago because they never give you enough conditioner at the resorts (at least for my hair). I liked it and because I can really put a lot on for the $1.25 price, my hair is always soft and I have very few split ends.  

My petty comment is that I work with someone who clearly does not understand how to speak correctly (as a teacher).  She constantly uses double negatives, teaches words as proper nouns (common food) and sighs all day long.  Everyone on staff avoids our room if she is in it.
