David Harbour (actor) and Lily Allen's (British singer) New York home "We love our home but our kids think it's ridiculous"
I adore that garden room and those big green couches...but that whole ensuite with the tub & sinks on carpet is a hard no from me.

Ooh, that “plain, English” kitchen and garden room are 😍. I do love that bathroom, even with the carpet. If there was a toilet, no way. The bedroom was boring with just that pink. I loved his black closet more than her closet.
The tiger print room was so sterile, even with that loud pattern everywhere. There was absolutely no depth to the design. I don’t care how comfortable that couch is, that room made me twitchy.

I love the Plain English (brand name) kitchen.
I would tweak a few things around the house, but I could definitely live there!

I saw some pictures of the apartment in a magazine, maybe a link on FB? Some of the wallpaper was wild, and I was a little surprised the guy from Stranger Things and Lilly Allen were together - I thought she was with a male British singer...

Hmmm...I generally like the kitchen but I couldn't do that frilly fabric around the island. The garden room is pretty but all those flouncy blinds - ugh no thanks - but love the sofa. Pink bedroom is so plain..not keen on that at all, especially without any windows! It's a strange mix overall but they obviously love it

It's a strange mix overall but they obviously love it As someone who works night shift, I can get on board with no windows in the bedroom, but with the doors open they still have windows in that adjoining odd ensuite. I really liked her walk in robe too. Not keen on the TV room though. They should have done a TV show of the renovation (like Escape to the Chateau) I think they'd be quite entertaining to watch.

Great home overall! Really like the plain English kitchen. The bedroom with no windows would be perfect for me as I prefer total darkness when I sleep. I'm just not a fan of pale pinks, and would have chosen a darker color. The master bath would be fine if they had left the carpet out. I did laugh at her framed cross stitch of sexually transmitted diseases. Those unique pieces really make a home more personal. The 'tiger' room didn't do it for me at all. It just seemed flat after all the other rooms. Thanks for sharing!

It’s not my personal style but it seems like they really love it and it reflects their tastes and desires for a home, so that’s what matters.

Fun to see inside their home. We went on a river cruise last fall and the ship had those swan faucets.

Thank you for posting that. Liked the kitchen area and especially that little lamp. I used to have one on my kitchen counter and loved the vibes it sent off. I need to find a new one. I liked all the rooms except the tv room. All that tiger print kind of made me sick.
I’ve never watched Stranger Things, but have seen him on late night talk shows. Quite enjoyable guy. Thanks again.

It’s not my style, but I’d much rather see this than a cold, all grey home with zero personality!

I sorta sped through the video but I like it a lot. I could see that being my style actually.

I love the decor; listening to him talk, not so much. The only things I didn't like were the carpet in the bath. I wasn't opposed to carpet but that pattern clashed. I didn't like the 'tiger' room because 1) tigers aren't that color and 2) there was too much of one print and nothing else.
Personally I have no use for a sauna. I like the idea of a smaller bedroom and a large closet.

They seem like a fun couple and I like how much they love their home. That’s definitely getting home ownership right. Most of their style is not to my taste though. There’s way too much flouncy and floral, and then all that tiger print - I don’t think I’ve seen wall-to-wall tiger print carpet before. 😲 And Lily calling it the “bed womb”?! Just, no. I do like their closets, his in particular. I’m currently editing our wardrobe (with inspiration from the book The Home Edit: Conquering the clutter with style) and I’m loving how it’s turning out but dh and I share a space. To us, separate walk-in closets would be living-the-dream. 😂

I love it.
We saw him several times at the restaurant Veselka in the East Village - must have been before he moved to Brooklyn.
