Hi everyone! I'm going to go and pick up some groceries in a little bit ... I'm out of my fav microwavable breakfast bowls ... I hate most breakfast food but these are soooo good! I don't know what I will do with the rest of the day ... I like that! I'm getting together with my girlfriend tonight ... we will pick up takeout and watch Netflix or The Food Network. This is what I posted on Facebook today ... I actually don't often use my heated seats but I get a lot of use out of my heated steering wheel! LOVE IT! The weather is OK here today ... nothing weird ... not too cold for this time of year ... no need to wear my heavy North Face coat. What is the weather were you are ? What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a great Saturday everybody!

Hi leannec I don't have a heated steering wheel but I do have heated seats. I'm not sure I like them. It's less heat in the back and more on the butt and it always makes me feel like I've got to go to the bathroom. Like that old slumber party trick of sticking someone's hand in warm water. It's very funny because I was up early this morning. This whole week I have overslept and then today, on the damn weekend, I was up early. Sigh. But, the good news is that I got my February scrapbook pages done. I do project life so they come together a little quick than traditional pages. I'm just cleaning up the mess now. My book didn't come yesterday. I was so bummed. I'm really hoping it comes today and I don't have to wait until Monday. Wah. Big baby that I am. I'm picking Chloe up for dinner and then we will go to the symphony. I'm unsure where she will want to go. But we are going out.

I slept late today. I woke up at just after 6, rolled over and woke up just before 8. Today has been a regular Saturday - grocery shopping, a nice walk (the weather was lovely and there were a lot of people out), then we went to the nearest mall to pick up a few things. Then came football and knitting. Our team is playing the late game today, so kickoff for that is in just over half an hour.
When I lived in Australia, I thought heated seats were silly. Then I moved here, and a few weeks later we went out for a day of sledding. Oh my, was I thankful for those heated seats when we got back to the car, and they probably were the reason I could get out of bed the next morning!
Dinner tonight is roast pork with bread dumplings and red cabbage (yes, very German of us!) The meat is cooking now and smells wonderful.

Good morning- I’ll be the outlier here-I LOVE my heated seats! Since I first had them, it’s a requirement with all cars for me now (and a moon roof). Today I have to go paint some doors. It’s rainy and I don’t want to but that’s what I’m doing. I woke up to a text from dd3 that the offer she put in on a condo was accepted - she put the offers in yesterday afternoon while the owner was already reviewing other offers and beat them out. She’s really excited. She’s only 23 and we aren’t helping at all so good for her on that one - it’s a really nice condo in a good area. Hope everything goes through ok. Her lender contacted the seller’s realtor to let them know the loan would be good so it should be fine. Dinner tonight is hamburgers and fries.

Oh, I love my heated seats now that I live somewhere where it makes sense to have them. They really aren’t necessary in most of Australia, as the winters are a lot milder than here, and I doubt we’ll get them when we buy a car after returning. While we’re here, we’ll keep getting them. In fact, when DH recently did the specs for his new car, I think heated seats were standard.

Like that old slumber party trick of sticking someone's hand in warm water. Oh my gosh, the memories of how awful we were at slumber parties! Everyone was afraid to go to sleep so we'd usually stay up all night. Except for that poor person... DH and I just went for a frigid walk and now I'm getting ready for DS's arrival sometime before noon. Dinner will be tacos/taco salad.

Flew home in a semi snow issue. Not too bad until I got to my house. Today I had to go pick up my dog, run to the post office, and do some laundry. Pretty sure a nap is in my future. no idea what’s for dinner.
My last car had heated seats and I absolutely loved them in the winter time

I too wish my heated seats were more on the back than the butt. Mine get so hot the elastic in my underwear could melt, lol!
We slept in, played with the pups and then headed out for a late breakfast. I have stuff to put a chicken pot pie together for dinner. I think we are going to have a quiet weekend close to home. Nick has popped into a music store he likes. We may hit a couple of thrift stores. I have a package of new clothes at home that arrived when we were out, so a try-on session will happen. I will be ready to curl up at home after that. Neither of us are 100% yet, so an afternoon of games or reading sounds good to me. I might want a coffee. We took a ride out by the beach the other night when it was nice and the sunset was beautiful, so a repeat of that could be great. The snow is melting already and we have some sunshine so all is good on this end.

I too wish my heated seats were more on the back than the butt. I forgot to mention my heated seats. Mine seems to heat up the back of the seat faster than the butt part. I eventually have to turn it off when I get too warm. I have a Toyota Highlander FWIW.

Prepping dinner for the youth group for lunch tomorrow.
Chicken drumsticks marinating with garlic parm sauce overnight. Will bake tomorrow. Hashbrown casserole made a bit differently. I had a pkg of cheese sauce (dried) which I added with the sour cream & cream of chicken soup and also added a bit of milk and 1/2 pkg of dry ranch dressing. Also diced onion, salt & pepper. I also had a pkg of velveta cheese sauce (ready made) and added that. This is a tasty combination and has much more flavour than usual.
I made a marble cake using a chocolate and golden cake mix plus a few cupcakes (for me!). Add in a green salad and lunch will be served.

We had a snow event last night. It included thunder and lightening which was very strange. We got about 20 cm of snow (8 inches). DH was the neighbourhood hero plowing the driveways on our street with his ATV. Walker loves the snow!
The temp is 5 degrees Celsius, the sun is shining and all the snow is melting like crazy.
I took Walker to visit DS’s dog this afternoon. They got along well and played together in the snow.
Supper is unknown.

I love my heated seats. leannec , your meme resonates w/ growing-older-me. When my coccyx injury is flaring it's like sitting on a heating pad. I love them. I really wish I knew that you could have heated steering wheels. That is a great thing for arthritic hands. It's rainy a lot, lately and that flares arthritis like no one's business. Geez. I feel old. It's raining, again. Noah must have hidden his ark somewhere around here. I ran to pick up my groceries and then picked up my Cricut Explore 3 at Target. The store was so quiet. Everyone was probably home prepping for the waterworks, but it was a good thing for me. Luckily, I remembered to buy the cutting mat. Almost forgot. DOH! I want to play w/my new machine, but I'm a bit tired today. I'll see how the rest of the day goes. We had a busy last few days. I don't have many spoons left. Dinner is tacos for dh. We're watching Your Honor on Showtime. We do an episode per night. Good show, but so dark, both physically and literally.
paget, you must be so proud of your dd. What a great achievement at such a young age. Congratulations to her. Enjoy the rest of your day, my lovelies.

Hi dinner last night was amazing and one of the good parts of it was the proximity to home. The food was excellent and we had lots of fun.
I need to get alterations done and to return something to Lululemon. I also need to buy pillows for my bedroom. I am kind of lazy at the moment so I will wait a while. Father is out golfing so that is fun. Whoodle is on the carpet taking a nap.

Spent half the day caulking trim in the basement til I ran out. So in the meantime I’ve been binging Clarkson’s Farm. paget congratulations to your dd. My dd has been looking for a year and is outbid every time. She’s actually paused her search. I love my heated seats and steering wheel. I do not like a cooling seat though. It makes me feel like I’ve wet my pants. We’re having grilled pork tenderloin, baked beans, broccolini and salad. Enjoy your night out jeremysgirl. I hope Chloe wants to go.

I must have heated seats in my vehicles. I am always cold so I love them. Just wish I had a heated steering wheel.
Today the sun is shining and it is in the mid 40’s. We had almost 3 inches of rain yesterday then it turned to snow. What a mess.
I ran some errands then came home and took a walk. Just didn’t have it in me to drag my butt to the gym.
Three of the grandsons are spending the night. It’s the fourth one’s birthday tomorrow and he is having some friends over and didn’t want his brothers around. They love card games so we will get quite a few in tonight.
Dinner is spaghetti.

I don't get to sleep in, I have a starving dog who wants food first, then outside. I'm up by 6:30 every day. I'm having roasted turkey breast & stuffing & green beans w/carrots.

Ok I got Father some Grey Goose vodka. I bought pillows and went for alterations. Everything is good here. I am having another smoothie snack and it’s very good. Dinner is a mystery. Nothing sounds good. Maybe beef stroganoff if Father agrees to it. The Whoodle is sleeping on the carpet and he is having a great day.

While DH watched golf, DS and I watched Top Gun: Maverick. He had never seen it, I have. It was just as thrilling the second time. Always get choked up in parts. My brother-in-law was CO of the Bandits at Miramar and they used his hanger for part of the filming of Top Gun. After he saw this movie, he said he would love to meet the pilots they used in Maverick.
Jennifer Connolly is incredibly beautiful and looks so natural!

Thank goodness I found some frozen lasagna piece in he freezer and verdict was noodles are excellent. Do not change anything was our take away. We used expensive sauce and it was worth it. We both really liked it a lot.
