Hi everyone! I will be meeting my mum at Denny's for our weekly breakfast soon ... not sure what I want to eat ... maybe and omelette or maybe just a couple of poached eggs with some toast ... After that I will wash my car because it is so dirty ... it is going to snow again this week but I'm still going to do it ... At home I need to do a bit of laundry and some work ... it never ends! I'm demo'ing pancakes for my Foods 7 class tomorrow ... can't wait . (I haven't actually made a pancake in about 20 years ... ex always did them ... ack!) This is what I posted on Facebook today ... Sunday's are usually a write off for me because I am a lazy procrastinator! Dinner tonight will be something from Hello Fresh because I get my new box today! What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a relaxing Sunday everybody!

Hi leannec! I really felt your meme deeply last Sunday. I just could not get myself going at all. The whole day was a bust. I hope you enjoy your breakfast and don't work too hard on what should be a day of rest. And ugh. My car desperately needs to be washed. I am caught between reading and quilting today. I want to do both and it looks like I will be able to. My book is moving along fast. It is so delightful though. Jeremy has just returned from the grocery store so I must wrap it up and put them away. Have a great day. I will make some chicken with some rice/quinoa blend, and brussel sprouts.

Once we're all up and ready, we're going for a nice hike today. It stormed overnight but the skies are starting to clear. We enjoyed watching the 2-hour premiere of Survivor last night. We watched it with DS for decades before he bought his townhouse and we moved away so it was fun watching it together again. Dinner will be Steve's Pizza because we haven't had it the last few times DS has been up here and he loves it.

Lazy Sunday for us. Regular bakery breakfast, then off to church. We had a baptism this morning and our children’s choir made their debut, so that was lovely. After lunch, I went for a work and DH went into work briefly to set up for the week. He’s off to Hamburg for a couple of days tomorrow, so wanted to be all set up. Dinner tonight is tacos. We haven’t had them for ages, and I am looking forward to them.

Good morning everyone. I was so tired yesterday that I didn't even take my new cricut out of the box. Today I will do so and I really need to find a place to put the thing in my small office. Dh made himself a waffle for breakfast. leannec , pancakes are easy to make, but I have only made breakfast once or twice in all the years I've been alive. I am NOT a morning person. I do make yds blueberry pancakes for lunch when he's home, because he loves them and I am awake. I don't know what to make for dinner. Right now, we're hoping the dishwasher isn't broken. So, that might play a part in my decision. I have a Bosch that I love and I really don't feel like dishwasher shopping. Might not be worth it to repair it, but dh is doing the research. Enjoy today and may it be delightful.

Good Morning!
The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. Feels like spring is just around the corner. But really who am I kidding...
We had a fun night with the youngest two grandsons. We played lots of games and watched a movie.
After I leave work, we are heading over to our DS to celebrate one of the grandsons birthday. He is nine today and thinks he is big stuff. It will be nice to have everyone together. I think they ar ehaving pizza for dinner.
Have a fabulous day!

I have the 5th load in the washer as we speak, I have remade the bed with the clean sheets, made DH breakfast, walked my Gracie....and am waiting to hear from my DF re a walk. She usually walks with her DH on WE's however he is in KC for his Dad's funeral...long story as to why she didn't go😱😱😱 Any way she will text when she is up from her nap.
Dinner will be a ribeye roast I took out of the freezer yesterday, a baked potato which we will share and sautéed brussel sprouts in a balsamic reduction.
The rest of my day will be spent on me!! I'm done with the house stuff this weekend!!

We are north of Chicago for a vintage guitar show. I sent Nick off to have fun browsing and I have a great spot in the lobby of the hotel where it's being held, with a pop and several books to choose from. I was hoping there might be a scrapbook or craft store near here to check out but it seems kind of a wasteland. There may be a Half Price Books but we'll see if I feel up to it after he is done. We mostly hibernate yesterday, watching TV and snacking. We ordered pizza and watched the Netflix docudrama on the Murdaugh family...unbelievable! I would have been fine for a repeat performance today but he has been hoping to go to this show for a while now and I hated for him to miss out again. I'm fine to hang out here. There are kids having fun in the pool on the other side of this wall of windows.
That meme...100%! We have started getting the week's laundry done early because for me Sunday at 6pm folding laundry feels like the weekend is completely over and I just dread it. It helps some. There is never enough time.
No idea on dinner. I was craving the spicy sausage from a BBQ place we sometimes go to, which is kinda sorta on the way home from here, but we'll see. I think my sinus stuff is affecting my taste buds...the pizza tasted like nothing last night. The covid test says negative, so there's that. 👍👍

Hi I know I said everything was great and it is but I am super bitch and I need this mood to leave me the F alone. I want to be having a great time hanging out and laughing. The TV is too loud and there are some many sports on today. My dad needs a hearing aid and refuses to get one. I will nag some more. He has a terrible un proactive GP who he has never met in persone. It’s a joke. He is getting terrible care. Why hasn’t he met him in person? He cannot make an appointment to get seen. He had to switch to this yahoo because his old doctor retired suddenly.
The kids should be home fairly soon I would think. Then we can do stuff again.

Hi we are having fun. I made the waffle batter and DDIL make the waffles. They were delicious. Father had scrambled eggs. Tonight we are going out for sushi. Everything is great here! Sounds delicious...enjoy your visit! The guitar show was a bit of a bust. Very small and no great deals. He found another music store but it was small also...poor Nick! I passed on the side trip to the bookstore. I have plenty and wanted to go home and hang on the couch. He is playing with music equipment. He may go into work for an hr or so as he us off tomorrow to drive me to Indianapolis for social work lobby day at the statehouse. I have about 30 of my students going too. We will hit a few of our favorite places for lunch and to take home before gettibg back on the road. Not sure if we will try to see friends or just head out. We have to leave very early so we may just get home. I think he is going to pick up something for our dinner on his way home from the shop tonight, but no idea what. A Popeye's chicken sandwich wouldn't make me mad, but nothing sounds super great. Maybe chinese takeout...dumplings, wings, Kung pao chicken? 🥟🥠🥡

I babysat the grandboys today. DH was in charge of Walker. He brought him over to see the boys and have a play with our grand dog. They play rough and I’m afraid that grand dog will be a bit too rough with Walker so I was on high alert.
Supper was steak, potatoes and corn. Mushrooms for DH. Yuk!

DDIL and I went for a walk. She is just wonderful. She brought treats from Vancouver and then she and DS brought home tonkotsu ramen and chewie cookies. Omg she is just so sweet.
The walk was kind of stunningly nice outside. It was cool and warm enough to be perfect conditions for a walk. Dexter also behaved.
I found out I love chocolate macarons and they are delicious. Omg. There is also cake for tonight. That is exciting.

Ha, love the meme! I didn't waste my Sunday, as such, but I did feel a little like I wasted a hot day. We had lunch at a pub for my SIL's birthday. It was an hour and 20 minutes drive each way, so we left home at 10:30am and got home after 4pm. It was a really hot day, and all I wanted to do was go to the beach or the river for a swim. I feel like I need to make the most of every hot day, before the cooler weather kicks in.
I had bacon and eggs for dinner, at about 8pm. DSO didn't want dinner. He had a huge chicken parma and chips for lunch, then he ate half of his dad's pizza, plus quite a few beers, so he wasn't at all hungry.
MIL said she was going to drop into the trout farm on the way home from the pub, so get some smoked trout for tonight's dinner (Monday). Fingers crossed she did that!
