What is your favorite oldies TV show?? Only one!!
Mine has to be The Andy Griffith show. Just love it. Makes me laugh every single time. I’m a fan of a Mayberry page on TT and just love it when I scroll through.
Edited to add: Oldies meaning.. whatever is old to you... but some of you are cheating, picking more than one!!! LOL

What is an "oldie"? How many years back? LOL! For some youngsters on here, an oldie is from the 90's. I am picking the first show that comes to my mind from my childhood and that is The Courtship of Eddie's Father. I can even remember some of the lyrics from the title song. "People let me tell you about my best friend He's a warmhearted person who will love me till the end"

When my dad was at Berkeley he and Bill Bixby lived in the same fraternity. My dad said he didn't know him well, as they were in two different majors, my dad said Bill Bixby was more into the arts, plays and such, and my dad was in engineering. I did like that show.

You're really mean, only letting me pick one! I guess I would have to pick The Young Doctors. It was an Australian soap opera from the 70s, when I was in primary school. My mum and dad let me stay up til 8:30pm to watch it on the night it was on! I was about 9yo. I am picking the first show that comes to my mind from my childhood and that is The Courtship of Eddie's Father. I have really fond memories of that one. I don't recall it being on TV here in Australia, as I was only 2yo when it first aired. I had never heard of it until we first got cable TV here, in the mid-90s. It was one of my go-to shows to watch when I had to get up in the middle of the night to feed my newborn DD. And now I am singing the theme song too!

I’m going to go to the outside lane and choose a cartoon. I was fascinated by the Jetsons. I wanted to fly in one of their cars and I really wanted a food generator thing.
Before that, it was Mighty Mouse. Not so much the characters or show itself, but I LOVED the sound of the water. Whenever anyone fell or dove into the water it made this best sound!
Speaking of being older than dirt…Does anyone else remember their family getting their first television? I do! It was a huge box and had compartments along both sides with these fake flowers in it. We were the first in the neighborhood and all our neighbors had to come over to watch it with us.
I remember getting the first color television too. I would stand right in front of it with my nose pressed on the screen because you could see hundreds of tiny dots of different colors. I was fascinated and wanted to know how it knew which color to light up and where.

How old? There aren't many I still enjoy watching as reruns but I do enjoy Cheers, The Golden Girls, Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, and The Addams Family. Oh and I like Emergency.

Eddie's method was to take seven small sips of water all on one breath, then hold your breath as long as possible. Works every time.

I don't remember getting our first TV, but I do know that we had only black and white for as long as I was living at home. I don't remember when my parents got a color one. But it wasn't until I was in college and saw "The Wizard of Oz" at movie night that I learned Kansas was black and white and Oz was in color. I had only ever seen it on our black and white TV. I remember gasping out loud when Dorothy opened the door of her house and looked out on Oz.

Since I’m not sure of your definition of “oldie”, I’ll go with “older”.
Murder She Wrote. If it comes on, I’ll watch it. I never get tired of it.
From childhood - The Flintstones and The Jetsons.

The Lucy Show - the 2nd show Lucille Ball did with Vivian Vance and Gale Gordon as Mr. Mooney. It is hard to find especially the later episodes where the characters move to California and Vance left the show.
