More than half of what I order never gets here when promised. I'm not even sure why I pay for prime. We are in a new house so I have been doing lots of shopping. Then I make plans, like tomorrow I was going to work on my raised butterfly garden. Except now the raised beds are running late.

Nope. I have actually been getting items a day or two early if not prime 2 day. It's still prime free ship but no issues here. Of course we have a bazillion freaking warehouses so...

I am not a prime member.
I have had no problems. I ordered something yesterday and the 2 items were delivered before noon today.

no - I've had a couple of items delayed by a day or two but the vast majority arrives when promised or even a little earlier. I'm rural but about 2hrs from the nearest warehouse.

We live in Wyoming and it takes a full week to get anything we order. And we are prime members. I have found that Walmart tends to be better on shipping times and is often cheaper.

I don’t pay for prime (never have, don’t see the point) and get my things in 2-4 days without paying for shipping or prime 🤷🏻♀️

Where i lived before there was never a problem. Even had some same day delivery. We moved 5 hours north and all of a sudden the service is terrible.

I had several orders a couple of weeks ago that were all delayed, most just by a day or two. I had another that was delayed so long that when I checked the progress, yet again, there was a message that it's possibly lost so I can ask for a refund if I want (and keep the item if it does show up). So I requested a refund because it wasn't a cheap item...and then it showed up a day or two later. Some of the delays were understandable because of weather, but the "lost" one just took forever once they claimed it had shipped.

Delivery has been fine.
My complaint is why can't Amazon package books properly? I like to buy books, and so many times books arrive all bashed up.
Today, I received a book that I ordered for my birthday. It wasn't cheap. It was in a big box with no padding. It must have been bounced around, as both the box and the book were damaged.
I order books from England, and they arrive no problem. The right sized box or some bubble wrap and a mailer would work so much better!

that sucks. There should be no reason for that to happen.

I'd say everything comes on time, but now most things take a full week at least vs. 2 days previously.

No issues here. I had a few things run late back in December, but usually only by a day.

We ordered a lamp in late February that said it was in stock, but would not ship til late March. They have now moved the ship date to April. No idea why. Luckily, it’s not something we have to have, but still frustrating.

Amazon has sucked for me for 6 years now. 1 week is about the soonest I can expect a package. Often it takes longer. We have prime, but I guess we live too far away for decent service.

Some things arrive the next morning and other things take a week, it's very annoying.

Amazon used to wrap the books into place on a piece of cardboard that was as wide as the box. They didn’t move in the box. Amazon also used to include bookmarks and magnets. How times change.

I’m a prime member. I’ve noticed that “2 Day” delivery is on fewer and fewer items. Most items take at least 4 days, sometimes longer. I always choose the lowest price with free shipping, so that’s probably why. For a while I was finding items with next day delivery, but those are few and far between. I’ve actually resorted to buying locally if the price is close, just so I can get something in a shorter time. I currently have Walmart+ and sometimes on things like hair care, I can get products cheaper and quicker, plus I don’t actually have to go into Walmart!

My only issue is drivers who refuse to read and use the delivery instructions that I have entered. Packages all arrive within 2 days unless I use the delivery day that saves them money and forget to take it off the next time.

People who live 30 minutes away get things within a few days. We have to wait 1-2 weeks. They are 1 hr. from an Amazon distribution center. We're 1 1/2 hours away. So that 30 extra minutes adds a week to the delivery? So annoying.

I don’t really pay attention, I think most of the stuff comes when it’s supposed to. We have several warehouses in the area so unless it’s coming from a third party seller it usually shows up pretty quick. It’s been a few years since we’ve had a package come really late or get lost altogether.

Yes. I am not even sure the last time we received our items in 2 days. Typically it is 4 days. Also, I ordered 3 items last week. One of the items I received two of on different days. One item I received but order history shows delayed in transit. It is a joke anymore which bums me out because I loved prime.

No. There are several warehouses near me, so unless it's coming from an outside seller (or from CHINA), I usually get everything in a day or two. I just ordered some plastic envelopes for my dies/stencils, and they won't be here till mid-April-May 3. Must be coming from China.

I have noticed it's the items that they hand off to the post office. This is for these items and the last 2. You should be able to decide how you want your item shipped.

I haven't had any problems lately. Occasionally the delivery is later in the day than they predicted, but I haven't had anything not come on the day they gave me at ordering since before Christmas. Most of my orders have been delivered by Amazon and I find their tracking to be fairly good here.

I dumped out prime in December when renewal came up.
We live rural, about 90 min from a distribution center. Pre-Covid we had 2 day delivery via Amazon trucks. During the “covid year” it became a week via some Amazon trucks, some UPS trucks, some postal trucks. After that year… postal and UPS only with 7-10+ day delivery.
A friend lives farther out from us, more rural, and has 2 day Amazon truck delivery. It’s BS. Where I work is closer to the delivery centers and just on the outskirts of town and delivery via Amazon is still 5 days usually.
So…. Not worth it IMO and I buy local for pick up if I can find it there. I’m in “town” 3 days a week so I can often pick it up faster than Amazon will get it to me for a better price.

I’ve ordered a lot from Amazon recently. As much as I’ve hated to use them so much, I have to say they saved me A LOT of running around the last several weeks. I’ve had several items “run late” and then just be cancelled so then I’ve had to reorder. I’ve gotten something I never even ordered, and also got the completely wrong item from what I ordered. I exchanged it for the correct item and now today I got an email saying my “return” has been refunded. So, I guess I just got a free item.
All of this has been within the last six weeks.
