What do you buy from Amazon?
We mainly buy things like books, electronics, computer stuff, and things we can't find locally. I did buy a bathing suit from Amazon once. I just needed it for a 1-week trip, and I couldn't find anything locally. It was inexpensive so I took a chance. It worked out just fine for the trip. I buy household and personal goods from Target or Walmart. I don't mind shopping in person, in fact, I prefer to shop in person. We have a few Targets and Walmarts close by, so it is easy to just run to the store to shop.

Not much, honestly.
My most recent purchase was luggage.

Just about everything. lol I hate shopping in stores. I do go to Costco regularly since I have a Costco 10 minutes from my house. But I try to avoid any other stores except the grocery store. Some of the things I've bought recently from Amazon: -- oven thermometer -- ice cube trays -- Pyrex pie plate -- digital clock for the bedroom -- a set of those rectangular reusable shopping bags that I learned about here, for my dd -- marrowfat peas to make mushy peas -- small space heater for our bathroom -- Jeffrey Eisner's newest cookbook (preordered) -- homeschool books for ds's stepdaughter -- a set of fine line markers -- a backpack purse That's going back a few months, not including Christmas gifts.

Items that I can not get in a brick and mortar store - Thomas Trackmaster trains and sets (Target has a tiny section, we don't shop at WalMart), medical products that are cheaper on Amazon than at a home health store (ex is chux pads), Trevis/Yeti cups and replacement parts, specialty items (ASMR coloring book), baseball/softball pants (because out local sports store does not sell accessible pants ), cell phone cases, scrapbook/craft items (like action wobblers or alcohol markers, and envelopes), sensory items for the kids (cheaper than an on-line OT store), unique shirts (Let's eat grandpa! Let's Eat, Grandpa. Commas save lives).

I have kitty litter on a subscription so I never have to haul it from the store! If I could find my cat food I’d order that too.
I have very limited local shopping, WalMart and Costco , so I frequently order gadgets, supplies, etc. I’d love to support local but most of the stuff I order just isn’t available.

A lot of odds and ends that we might buy at our local Walmart if they had what we wanted but because it is a small store, they do not. Recently I bought a new travel makeup mirror and toothbrush heads. I get my Silhouette mats from them, coffee pods, my favorite socks which I used to buy at Steinmart until they went out of business.
I've only bought one item of clothing - a shirt for exercise - and I hate it. I should have returned it.
The most expensive thing I've bought was probably my dining room chairs and they weren't that much. DH gets parts for fixing things through Amazon.

photo prints - I order frequently
blades for my paper trimmer - the only local source I have just bumped the price to 12.99...Amazon had them for 8 and change
water bottles - looking for specific style that I couldn't locate locally
clear half-size photo squares - my local source no longer carries them
crepe spatula and spreader - DD16 requested
compression socks and Crocs sandals
speciality food items I couldn't even find in the nearby city
measuring spoons that fit INto spice jars (I sent these as a gift -but had previously bought my own)
magnetic wristband for nails and screws etc... (gift)
Lego playing cards (gift)
that's it this year so far.
I live rurally - there's a 'city' (town really) nearby with grocery stores, Walmart, and a HL but it's a hour to a decent size city (with Target, Sam's club, Joanns, Michaels etc) and nearly 2 to a BIG city (with Ikea).

I buy everything except groceries from Amazon. I hate going from store to store looking for the thing I want when I can just click a button and it is delivered to me for free. When I'm in a store and I see something cute I check Amazon to compare prices. Amazon is the bomb!

i hate shopping, so, if I can find it on Amazon at a reasonable price I get it. Most recent purchase was blackout curtains for my bedroom and a curtain rod, brackets.

I buy mainly school supplies for my classroom because the school does not supply them and the students need them ... it sucks!
I work in a low income area in a very high needs school so most students require the basics to be provided by the school (me!) ...
I am constantly buying:
- looseleaf paper - presharpened pencils - Sharpies
I also have the following available that I have purchased from Amazon:
- heavy duty pencil sharpener - rulers - scissors - coloured pencils - highlighters
I do buy things for myself from Amazon but less often ...

My dh detests shopping. He buys anything he can.
I order from Whole Foods on the app then pick it up.

I’m impatient so I prefer to just go to a store and buy what I want. But when I can’t get what I want here locally, I’ll check Amazon first to see if I can get it from there and for how much. From there I might poke around to see if the Amazon delivered price is inflated or if I can get it somewhere else cheaper even if I have to pay shipping.
Most recently I bought some boots (after buying a different pair elsewhere but they were a size too small and the original place didn’t have the next size bigger), a phone case and tempered glass screen protector, some aprons for sublimation, some hardware for making purses, a watch band, some cookbooks. DH orders a ton of stuff for work. We get packages from Amazon pretty much every week.

I buy my coffee beans from Amazon, two packs at a time. It's usually a lot cheaper than the supermarket price, unless it's on sale at the supermarket.
Every now and then I buy a 24 pack of my favourite sarsparilla. The two big supermarkets here in my state don't sell it. I was talking to the purchasing manager at the company who makes it (they're a customer of mine at work) and he told me that Amazon sell it. I would never have thought to look for it on Amazon. Next day delivery, cheap price, perfect!
Sometimes I buy moisturiser, if I'm about to run out and the supermarket doesn't have it on sale that particular week.
Other random things that I've bought in the last 12 months or so: hand massager, scissors, selfie stick tripod with remote control, charging cables, essential oil diffuser.

Anything and everything I can't order with my grocery pick up order. I detest going into any store when I can order it online and have it shipped to me.

Everything except groceries. I got out of the habit of shopping in stores during the pandemic so I hit Amazon for just about everything.

Books, Vitamins, bulk ingredients for making my own eco friendly cleaning products.
Random, impulse one-offs like a microwave rice cooker for my Dad - I had the idea and wanted him to get it quickly.
Things that I'm not sure where I'd go to buy in person like yoga blocks, lap tray for a laptop, jigsaws.

Everything! We live in a very rural town. Not much here except Kroger and five Dollar Generals. 30 min to nearest Walmart, two hours to most any other decent store.

We have a subscribe and save shipment on a couple of things that were constantly out of stock when we needed them so rather than to risk it, it's Amazon.
I really hate driving all over for just one or two things. We are in a part of town that has a Meijer and a crappy Walmart less than 5 miles from us. I refuse to shop at Walmart and go in there maybe once a year. The closest Target is a good 20 minute drive. I don't like it enough to make it a regular shopping stop. So Amazon covers the things we can't get at Meijer or the smaller grocery store that are nearby.
Clothes, coffee filters that I could only find at bed bath and beyond, seasonal stuff, etc. My "buy again" list is full of random stuff. I have a shipment coming today of a color depositing conditioner because I don't want to drive to Ulta.

Books - most of what I read these days is on my kindle Food products my grocery store doesn't sell - often 'exotic' ingredients. I bought an Elsa costume for my DGD's birthday present, because it was easier than going into the city Printer ink water filters
I buy a lot more since we moved out to the suburbs. Before, we were only 10 minutes from the city center, so it was easy to pop in to buy things. Now it takes 45-50 minutes, so I don't go in so often and order more online. Basic groceries I buy from the supermarket and there is a nearby pharmacy for most medical needs. I buy clothes online from a specific store where I know their sizes and trust the fit. There is also an online pharmacy I use for a lot of OTC stuff that I isn't really obvious in my in-store pharmacy (which is rather small)

Dislike going to stores and do not have a lot of free time. I buy just about everything but produce and perishable groceries. I had 31 orders in March.
I have tried pick-up from Walmart and Target and it is hit or miss and way too time consuming. There are always out of stock items and things they don't carry. Plus I hate sitting in the parking lot waiting for the order.
Also, have found many items on amazon are often less expensive. For me it is a winning situation.

I have some regular deliveries set up of heavy staples, like cat food. Saves me a lot of trouble (I am often walking from the grocery store).
Otherwise, I will get some hardcover books on there--I read a lot and try to shop at independent bookstores, but if a hardcover is $30 at the bookstore and $16 on Amazon, as happens a lot, I'll use Amazon. It's also great for stupid things my kids lose constantly like socks and water bottles.

Oh my gosh, almost everything. It'd be easier to ask what I do NOT buy from Amazon. Via Amazon, we buy all manner of household goods, home decor/seasonal type things, party supplies, beauty/self care items, some over the counter meds when cheaper, pet supplies (cat food, litter, treats, occasional toys), toys, games, books, gifts, some basic craft supplies, school and home office supplies, all manner of gifts, coffee....
The things I do NOT buy from Amazon would be groceries and more niche craft supplies.
