My son’s gf wants a ‘clutch.’ She is 31. I want to order something and have it sent to her in Sweden. It costs them to receive a pkg from the US. I’ve got a cold and can’t go shopping.
my question is. What clutch would a 31 yo woman like. $1,000 limit plus or minus
and btw this cold is ALL MY FAULT. yesterday at the Louvre it was shoulder to shoulder all day. I had 2 masks in my purse. Did I put them on? No, becauce I’m a dumbshit.

I wouldn't spend that much on a purse.
I would look in one of the gift shops, and look for an inexpensive clutch that has one (or more) of the Paris landmarks on it or that says "Paris".
If she's a "bling" type of girl get something with bling, if she's more of a plain type of a girl get something on the plain side.

At that price range, you might be able to get a Céline for less $$ since you’re in Paris. That would be my top suggestion. I’m 35, FWIW 😆
If she likes logos but not too much, a small YSL bag might fit the bill.

Ok. Prices have increased. Spent less than 1000 at each of those stores. But they were not clutches either. And it was 10 years ago.  |

I think the black YSL clutch is a classic and you really can’t go wrong with it. And it’s less than $1k. Barely!  Prices have really gone up in the last couple of years! The black clutch is 950 Euros on the French website and is the only bag under 1,000 Euros. Same bag on the US website is $1,290. Since she plans to send the bag directly to the girlfriend in Sweden, she isn't going to be able to get the VAT return either. |
