The link isn’t available in my country however, the first name Kyle is very popular here though I’ve not come across anyone with the surname. A Kyle is also a geographical description meaning strait of water or narrow sea channel. There are places called Kyle like Kyles of Bute or Kyle of Lochalsh.

It did, thank you. For a bit of fun I’ve posted it on a local page.

My future son in law is named Kyle. He’ll be on his honeymoon, so he’ll have to miss the gathering. 😁

My son is Kyle and May 21st is my birthday! Coincidence?
He was named after the Kyle railroad that goes through northern Kansas, which was named for the owners son Kyle! We don't have anything to do with the Kyle railroad, my husband is just a railman and wanted to name him after a railroad somewhere! When he suggested Rocky for the Rock Island Railroad I absolutely refused!!! So Kyle it was!

One of my brother's is Kyle and so is his son. I came so close to naming my son Kyle, but didn't because I thought my brother might want to name his son Kyle. (It was before he was married.) Didn't think we needed 3 Kyles in our family...way too confusing.
