I cannot believe my oldest will be graduating in a matter of weeks! I was on the old board when he was born and there were so many pregnant at the same time. Who else has a kid graduating this year? Mine is planning to move about 4.5 hours from us to go to Oklahoma State. I don’t love that he will be so far but he will only be about an hour from my mom and dad. Here’s a picture of my 6’6” senior!

My oldest graduates the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend--but his party is Mother's Day weekend so I'm a little freaked out about that! He's going to be 9 hours away at South Dakota Mines in Rapid City to study civil engineering and play football. I'm excited for him but going to miss him so much...life is going to be boring without all of his activities to go to!

My second is graduating in June. He will be going to school and playing baseball in Indianapolis, which is about 11 hours away. I really wish he was going to be closer and am having a hard time with it. People ask me about it all the time, especially now that baseball season is starting. A lot of the time I have a hard time not tearing up immediately and it is driving me crazy. I cry easily as it is but it’s really embarrassing. Heck, I’m teary eyed even just typing this.

My oldest is graduating in June.
She got a great financial aid package, we her parents did not (she'll graduate with basically no debt because 90% of her financial aid is a parent loan and the rest is a scholarship...) so she's staying at home and going to the local school for at least one year. She's fine with it. I'm fine with it.
She'd better get her license though, I'm not driving her to college every day!

My youngest is graduating from college on May 4th! She’s getting her degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She has grad school ahead of her. She is currently waitlisted so she may have to take a gap year. Those 4 years go fast!

My oldest is graduating from university this May; how those 4 years flew, dragged (Covid) and have flown!
It’s been wonderful the last two years living only an hour and a half away.
He has orders to a ship home ported in Hawaii this fall so it’s bittersweet as he’s off on his adventures.
I’m still mostly in denial lol.

My baby graduates high school in June. I was also on the board when he was born. Definitely bittersweet.
Congratulations to all the graduating Pea kids!

My youngest graduates HS and is headed to NDSU in the fall so only a few hours away. It's been a weird year since he is attending college FT and mostly detached from HS friends. I have barely any pics of him doing anything HS related for the year, but he's content, keeps busy with work, gym and gf, so it's all good.
Love seeing the pics and hearing what future plans are!

Ported in Hawaii sounds amazing, at least!

My youngest DD graduates in May. She's going to a local community college and will live at home. And both of us are happy about that! ;-)
She too, is a PEA BABY! ;-)

My son is graduating May 21st from university. I'm currently in NYC for his senior weekend (last sport home game tomorrow). He's at practice and we're going to dinner tonight to celebrate.
He's heading to Durham University in the UK in September for his MBA.

My oldest graduates college in June - double major with economics and history and almost a 4.0 gpa.
He has a finance job in the Bay Area already - but I’m sorta hoping he decides to go to grad school….

My youngest DD just finished her last exam of her undergrad today. She is graduating with a science degree in biology and a minor in fine arts… Kind of a strange combo but she’s taken a lot of drawing courses for botany, the human body, etc that tie in to science.
She really wants to go to vet school and got in in New Zealand, but the international student fees make it impossible to afford. In Canada you are only allowed to apply at the vet school in your region. (I had to supply my drivers license for proof of residency) She has an interview there at the beginning of May fingers crossed, but they only take 13 students from our province.
Her graduation is May 6, but she has decided to move to Germany on May 1. She met a young German fellow last summer while working in BC and will live with him. If she gets into vet school, she will come home for the fall but otherwise she has a visa for the year, a place to stay and will be doing a bit of teaching English as a second language.
I have mixed emotions about her skipping her graduation, it’s my alma mater, so I would be very proud to see her walk across the stage, but also kind of relieved not to have to sit there for four hours lol.

Thanks for starting this thread--I love seeing how all the Pea kids are doing!
My twins graduate college Mother's Day weekend. One on Friday in NY and the other on Sunday in Iowa--it will be a busy weekend.
NY kid majored in technical theater and has a great summer job lined up. Unfortunately, theater life seems to be gig-based, so we'll see how things go from there, but they've made lots of great connections and have a few options in the works.
Iowa kid majored in creative writing and will be heading to England for her master's in librarianship this fall.

My DD graduates next month! She will be about 4 hours away from us in Indiana for college. <3. Double business/marketing majors and then off to culinary school or an internship with the end goal of owning her own bakery.

My girl graduates HS at the end of May. She’ll only be an hour away (probably). I have no idea where she will live while going to school. Her school is close to UC Irvine, so she’s hoping her UCI friends are getting an apartment and maybe she can join them. Otherwise, the school will be connecting her with strangers. I guess that’s life.

My baby is graduating with her BA in Musical Theatre this summer; we’re just booking tickets for her final production (Godspell) for next month. Dropped her off today for her final term. Can’t believe we’re here.
Her elder brother is finishing his MA (stage & production management) in the autumn. Fingers crossed for work for both of them in such a challenging industry in such a challenging time.
He’s living at home, she’s coming home so I’m the opposite of so many of you looking at their kids moving so far away.

Super proud of my oldest. Graduating with High Honors on June 2. He is going to school at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was accepted to all the colleges he applied to, but this one caught his interest the most. He was accepted into the Honors Business program which only takes about 30 applicants a year. He is interested in the supply chain field, with some international travel/business hopes. We will be lost with out him (we have 10 Year old twins) but we are all so excited to see what he achieves. I’m glad he isn’t going that far away! Good luck to all the Grads!!! (He is why I joined Two Peas and started scrapping…….. I wanted scrapbooks of him. Meanwhile I’m on his 5th birthday. Just a little behind)

My youngest graduates the Tuesday after Memorial day. We are very excited for him. And us becasue he's heading away for College. Not too far, but far enough to not live at home and we will be empty nesters. At least for a year when our middle son graduates from college. He may end up moving back in for a bit.
Anyway, he got a really nice Scholarship and most of his tuition will be paid for 4 years. We'll be covering the housing and meal plan.
We haven't taken Senior pictures yet. Winter won't go away and it's still ugly outside.

My oldest is graduating in June. He's going to SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He wants to be a Forester. He got a "Class of 2023" magnet at the end of 5th grade. It's been on my fridge every since. The date looked so far in the future...and then it blended into the background of the fridge. It was around Christmas time that I noticed it again and realized it's here.

My son graduates this year. We just celebrated his 18th birthday. He was born premature (1lb 9oz…26 weeker) and it’s pretty amazing to see how far he’s come. Can’t believe prom/grad is just around the corner. Time sure moves fast.
We are lucky our high school offers some great college courses and he just finished and passed the Emergency Medical Responder course which is a prerequisite for entry into the Primary Care Paramedic course. The next step was an entrance exam, which he just wrote a few days ago but didn’t do as well as he hoped. We are just waiting back to hear if he’s been accepted. He is so ready to be done with high school and get going with his career choice.
