Oh my gosh, aj2hall!! I was just getting my hair cut last week and the girl cutting my hair and another lady were talking things political I chose not to get involved in. The other person started the talk. So my stylist said after a bit that someone who came in for a cut stated a small school system near me(about 20 miles) had to put kitty litter in the bathrooms for students. I asked had that really happened? And it was almost word for word what the guy said above. I had a coworker from FL tell me this was happening in Seattle schools per a Seattle coworker whose kids went there. I asked which one, tell me so I can go check if true. Crickets. Was hard for him to accept it was not true.

More news on FOX v Carlson: Tucker Carlson's text messages were so damaging Fox didn't think 'it was survivable': Times reporter Sarah K. Burris April 27, 2023, 5:39 PM ET Despite the fact that Fox’s trial lawyers had these messages for months, the board and some senior executives were now learning about their details for the first time, setting off a crisis at the highest level of the company," the Times said, according to two sources. *** I can only describe the way that people, you know, reacted," said Schmidt. "When they saw it — and what they saw, they didn't think it was survivable for the network to have known about it and to allow him to stay on the air. I realize that is not a satisfying answer to many people." www.rawstory.com/tucker-carlson-texts-unsurvivable/

More on Tucker's texts that prompted the Dominion settlement and his firing. Would love to see the exact wording of his texts. No doubt it was offensive. www.nytimes.com/2023/04/26/business/media/tucker-carlson-dominion-fox-news.htmlPrivate messages sent by Mr. Carlson that had been redacted in legal filings showed him making highly offensive and crude remarks that went beyond the inflammatory, often racist comments of his prime-time show and anything disclosed in the lead-up to the trial.
It is notable that even when compared with the extreme rhetoric Mr. Carlson was allowed to use on air, the messages released publicly had the ability to shock. In one, he referred to the lawyer Sidney Powell, a major proponent of the debunked theory that the Dominion machines switched votes, with a crude and misogynistic slur. Amid the cache of redacted messages was one in which he used a similar vulgarity to describe a senior Fox News executive, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
