 I just returned from a road trip passing directly through Altoona, and was super tempted to swing by the Altoona State Police station, but a thrift store called my name from the other direction. I never expected to encounter real life Pealore at a glancing distance and obv had to share  |

Nice to see you. I was going with Altoona NY, but never actually knew which Altoona it was. I have passed through there (NY) quite a few times and it always makes me think of that Pea incident also. 😄

Ha! I would have had to take a detour and get my photo taken outside the Altoona PD. It is part of Pea folklore, after all.

I've followed your trip on Instagram. Looks like you've had a good time and good shopping. It was a fantastic trip! So exhausting, but in a very good way. We are already planning on a return, maybe in the fall, and taking my younger two girls next time. |

There's an Altoona in Iowa too, my brother goes there for stock car races and every time he posts from there I think of the Peas.
